Bumping this thread again. Step up to the plate.
Two days ago I got a PR on one arm incline DB presses.
1 x 3 x 135
5 x 2 x 135
Good shit right there Push!
A lifter should get credit for at least one rep. just for getting it into position to start with.
At first it is tough to learn how to position the bell. Once you have it mastered it is much easier on the shoulders than lifting with two.
Funny thing about this PR is I thought on the first couple sets I was hoisting the 125 lbs DB. I was complaining to myself and my girlfriend how I should be pressing the 125 for at least 4 reps and how my carb cycling diet must not be getting me the strength I'm used to. I got a little mad and forced the set of 3 reps on the second set. I was bummed that it was so tough.
Then I realized I'd been using the 135. So I had to crank out several more sets because I had a merry song in my heart then.
