Hi All,
My wife is trying to lose BF. Although she's been working out for years she wants to speed things up a bit. She's got a good program but I'm wondering about supplementation. I use Flameout, Surge and Grow! but I'm wondering if she should be taking it too. I'd imagine yes but at different amounts from what I take.

Any thoughyts or advice?

Thanks!!
J.

We both follow Precision Nutrition religiously so I'd say pretty good.

Precision Nutrition suggests certain supplements, correct? Like flax oil, fish oil, multivitamin. Seems like I remember reading in Gourmet Nutrition (Berardi's work before he made Precision Nutrition) that fish oil helps with metabolism.

I wish I could recommend one of the supplements found on this site for you, but I've never tried them. I am looking forward to hearing what the others say, though.

BUMP BUMP!!!

Any ladies with pre-workout supplement experience?

Specifically: Creatine, Nitric Oxide

Goal: Increase mass and power staying injury and anabolic free (me in the pic)

I want to hear about both benefits and side effects.

Specific brand, dose, training regimen appreciated.

As a female lifter interested in looking ripped, I can't say enough for FINiBARs, Anaconda, and Se7en, especially when it comes to peri-workout nutrition. Both the Anaconda and the FINiBARs contain a superhydration catalyst, which sucks water into the muscle, giving you the perfect muscle pump without any sort of bloating or heavy feeling before a workout. The nutrients go straight to the muscle rather than sitting in your tummy during a workout. They'll give you the ideal bump in insulin to help you feel energetic and ready for a tough workout.

No need to worry about side effects. I haven't felt or heard anything negative about these. They're all available in the T Nation store.

As for my training regimen, I work out six days a week alternating between upper body, lower body and cardio. I lift heavy.
