BBB... This is hugely inspirational. I know you've heard it but that's great progress. You look amazing. You must be so happy and proud of the amazing body you've created.

I think your skin will come back...keep it clean like you are. Also try bio oil...rub it on just like as if you were preggers. I know that as I loose fat my stretch marks show more and are all ripely and stuff but it tightens as I hold weight.

You are such a sweetheart, thank you for the kind words! :)

I had surgery 3 years ago, laprascopic through my tummy. I have 6 or 7 small scars and one large one. I used Bio Oil on them every day and Im surprised at how well they healed. I'll start using it on the stretch marks and see what happens. I already use baby oil gel every morning when I get out of the shower......it's great for yummy smooth skin, that's for sure! :)

Bio-oil?

No one told me how to treat my scars... :(

Not at all. I know many women who struggle with fat loss. It's our culture and lifestyle. My male friends who get fat seem to just give up and stay fat although some stay strong as well. Maybe a male genetic thing.

Saturday Im running my very first 5k. I cant wait. Very very excited! Ive tried this a few different times with a friend and each time they have backed out. This time I said screw it and decided to do it by myself and for myself! The self satisfaction of finally completing this goal is going to be amazing!!! I get pumped up just talking about it!!! A few of my friends wanted to be at the finish line but I asked them not to attend. I know me...I'll end up crying when Im done due to being overwhelmed with joy that I finally accomplished this feat! Im just a big o' sappy baby like that!! :-D

Last week I received my diet from Mr. South Carolina (bodybuilding champ). He's on my FB page and I met him once at a bbing competition. He's followed my progress, was impressed with my dedication/hard work, and out of the blue offered to help me.

Eating has been spot on with the exception of a small over indulgence of macadamia nuts earlier in the week. My level of confidence and determination are out the roof right now!!! Heck, I wasnt even tempted by the red velvet cake they brought into work today. For me.....THAT'S FRIGGIN HUGE!!!! :)

Monday Daniel is going to look at my weight and workout and see what needs to be changed. Im so excited it's hard to contain my enthusiasm. Im so grateful for his guidance. Im expecting spectacular results!!!

BBB-

I'm SO excited for your 5k! Accomplishing that deserves a 'big sappy baby' response. :)

How awesome your diet coach offered to help you! Great work sticking to the plan, I'm excited to follow your continued progress. :)

Thanks everyone! Things are going fantastic. Everyday is a high!

Ran the 5k this morning. Was freezing cold, 46 degrees at 7am. Brrrr...

I didnt come in last (Yayyyyy!!!) and I shaved 4 minutes off my practice time from last week while on the treadmill. That means I actually ran 2 minutes faster than my goal for the race! All in all it was a great day!

I bought a cute picture frame to display the bib. It has room for 4 pictures. I decided I'll do 3 more 5k's just so I can fill the picture frame! lol That's a valid incentive, right??? :)

Diet is going FANTASTIC! Today is cheat day and all Ive had is an iced tall vanilla latte. Thought about scarfing down a bag of Oreos but when I picked them up off the shelf this feeling of disgust came over me. So....I think I'll have sushi tonight and call it good :)

Have a great weekend...

Congrats on the 5k BBB. My wife is training for her first 5k next month. She's never been a runner all her life (she's 30) and for years never believed she could actually do it. She comes back after almost every training run literally in tears (good tears) at what she's able to do now. So I know how big an accomplishment what you're doing is. Keep it up :)

Ive been sticking to a contest diet 100%. It's awesome!! In two weeks Ive lost 2" around my waist!! I am now finally the size of a normal fat person!!! I am focused and driven to compete in a show. Would like to compete in physique in November....but there's another show after the first of the year that I know I could do. Either way, Im getting ripped and that all that matters!!! :)

Loving life,

Thank you sooooo much!!! My lifts are getting bigger too. Im at the same strength I was before the weight loss. Was afraid I wouldnt see that again after losing so much muscle but it's coming back and fast!!!

Tomorrow I start lifting with a partner. He's very dedicated and used to lift at my old gym. We are both now at Golds. We both know we can count on the other to be there and give it 110% and not dilly dally around, so Im expecting to my lifts to get even bigger. The guy whose writing my diet isnt happy about me lifting big. We are supposed to talk about the workouts soon. I told him I'd do whatever he told me to do, I want this that bad, but Im hoping I'll get to have a few heavy days.

Honestly, just healthy eating :)

Eggs, turkey, chicken, fish, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, veggies, nuts, and one protein shake a day after my evening workout.

No magic pill, no fat burners, nothing but good food and kick ass workouts! :)

p.s. This week I lost 1/4" around my waist. I bought a dog a week ago so Ive been a little tied up focusing on training him. I have been running with him around the neighborhood twice a day....great cardio buddy! :) He's a 9 week old pit bull.
