I just can't keep track of all the twins in this thread...? Every time I look...'twins', 'my twinnie'...new twins...

And then you pop up as the cover athlete for today's article too...although that weight would be way light for you but, photo shoots are like that sometimes. I cant be the only person who has thought this.

Keep up the great work.

ERIC D.

HA!!! :D ! Z I think I'll stick to using "handles" now that the relationship is more established! I do have a fraternal twin sister who is a HARD CORE Libertarian and more than a bit paranoid about her privacy and her name, so I call her Twinnie on the internet! She has not idea however that I ever mention her since she avoids any and all social networks, or any kinda internet forum that is not related to auditing the fed or protecting gun rights, or that kinda thing. ;)

yesterdays pull ups: 6 sets of 10, 3 sets of 7 wait 30 seconds then 3, then 3, 3, 3, 3

today

180x10, 190x5, 200 x3, 210x2
185x8, 195x4, 205x2, 215
low anderson zerchers 245x3 x 3 sets
back extensions

Got a new mp3 and some headphones, and some straps so I'm all set. Going to learn how to use em via youtube later today. Mysteriously lost some wt these last few weeks and am sub160 which is low for me. Not sure the deal and doubt it'll last.

Today
farmers handles 122# per hand for misc distance.

Things went well today. I was really surprised actually! Far longer distance before stopping and I added a distance to the total as well. really happy! Grip held up once I started to think of it more as pain/disconfort instead of sucky grip, which is what it seems to be. But word!

Did not use the straps!

Just tell her everyone here supports the right to bare arms while showing off their guns.

Completely unrelated to lifting but it has been a very good dog day, in one day I may have gone from having no dogs (a very sad state of affairs) to three dogs.

Back to lifting, great to hear you didn't need the straps. Is the clip with rubber glove thing still working well?

HA! Silverblood :)!

WHOA!!!Nice Scotto! Three love bugs now!! That's great!!!! I bet they are even happier!!
The gloves are still working with the clips too! I think this friday I will add a tiny bit of wt so it might not fly.

Today
fs 45x8, 135, 175, 195, 205, 215
165x10, 155x9, 165x8, 175x5
clean grip lunges 95x5 /leg, 115x5/leg
busted up ghr's x 30 reps of not full rom stupid thing is still messed up. Also just not that into it today for lifts in general.

At home I'm doing some bulgarians lunges -bw 5 sets of 10 per leg. My legs have lost a lot of size the last year or so, about an inch and a half per leg. And they are I believe weaker, so why not do some bulgarians.

The harassment worked!! I shall take full credit for the NEW GHR at the gym! AH HA HA!!!!
ghr's x10, x11, x12, x13, x14, x15, x5
I wanted to do more but between a sets someone doing the, "Let's teach the girlfriend how to WORK OUT MAN " type situation going strutted on up. Along with the girl and an ace sideman bro along with him .So it appeared- , bro jumped on thinking it was free and promptly rolled the feet way back and did back extensions in the half circle of adoring friend/girlfriend waiting to learn to LIFT. I like to add as well he set his coffee on the reverse hyper because..its a coffee table I guess for bros training their girlfriends.

Oh well, at least I can use it! And it seems more legit then the other one which is in a corner of shame now. The new one actually slides back so you can get a much better fit for your legs. HA HA! I left a nice smiley face thank you note for it as well.

I also did back extensions on a thing meant for only back extensions.

:D!! Thanks Scotto!!

It has been too cold and snowy to do farmers walks this week or walking the long walks with Mossi. Had a wild temperature drop of 50 degrees on I think tuesday or monday. Balmy almost in the morning then rock bottom cold by sunset.

Instead I did cardio weds, yesterday, and some cardio today after deadlifts. I might switch up my days and do deeds of friday or saturday now since I get more time those days. Maybe farmers on thursdays and saturdays deads? whatever. I might just have to swap depending on the weather could be a easy fix.

I worked on my hands the last few days and that helped a lot, smoothed out my callouses and bumpy palms.

deadlifts
45x5, 135, 205, 255, 285, 300, 315
295x2 x 2 sets, 285 x 3 x 2 sets, 275 x 4 x 2 sets, 265 x 5 x 2 sets, 255 x 6 x 2 sets
anderson zerchers 135x3, 185x5, 205x5, 225x6
ghrs x 20, x14

Did I see a vid of the old machine a ways back?..maybe another thread. Sounds pretty cool though, be fun to try one someday. I do hip thrusters on a smith machine; works very well indeed. I thought I was being clever...along with a million other people, so I've seen on the Intranet.

I've got 27Lbs. of Beagle with cabin fever at home...Hope yours isn't as unruly!

BTW--Kpsnap mentioned a meet 12/9 and 10 in Aurora...sounds like fun!

Happy Lifting

AH Eric! Moss is being pretty patient with the frigid cabin fever but it won't last long! I can't wait to get him out this weekend! We both need to air-iate a bit, dear me.

Word! Well if you do the meet good luck!!!! My short lived meet days are over but I do really like Dan and Jen who will probably be covering the meet since they do most USAPL stuff in the state. They are good folk!

today
fs 45x5, 115, 175, 195, 200, 205, 210, 220
180x13, 180x6, 180x5 x 4 sets, 180x4, 180x2
ghrs x16, x15, x10
back extensions

I guess I am on maintenance mode for lifts. Not really excited to do em or feel that surge. Maybe its just winter kinda blahs- all the same 'tis fine with me.

Yesterday's pull ups
11, 4 sets of 10, then the pause ones for a mixed up total of 100

I should get these better organized. I get in a hurry and don't give myself enough rest between sets so I can get better sets.

Today
fs 145x5, 155, 175, 195, 205, 215, 220
180x11, 190x4, 200x2, 210
180x5, 190x3, 200x2, 210
180x4, 190x2, 200, 210

I was then curious so I went to my car and I tried a belt for front squats for the first time ever.
Belted felt noticeably easier. I have never belt trained much let alone on front squats, a few times on deadlifts I have tried but just never kept using it.
belted fs 135, 175, 195, 205, 215

Something to consider I guess. Maybe for fancy days? Could be a fluke event too and not a huge difference.

Also back extensions

Funny about the belt..I use one for fronts, in the smith machine...GASP!!! "Oh my god, whats he doing over there". If I KNOW I can get 5 or so reps...no. But when I wanna push things a bit...sure I'll use one. Just another tool as we always read and hear. Truth is, I use it a bunch, but I know I'm smart about it.

I am however, still trying to figure out what these 'pullups' you speak of are...they just don't ring a bell; Hmm.

And BTW--I may GO TO WATCH the meet, but I'm to vain to try to COMPETE IN ONE! To weak, get it? Hah.

Happy Lifting-
ERIC D.

AHH!!! ERIC!! Just clear the air! I am not anti belt! I am not anti anything really. Everyone has their thing and god knows I do my own thing. Who cares if its doing what you need it to do for you? This applies to lifting and to lots of areas in life in my eyes!

I even own have two belts! One is a old ass prong belt I got at a thrift store for $8 and one I specifically purchased new, in a fancy color, with a lever trying to get use out of a belt. And of course, the thrift store one is the one I like best.

I did the math wrong the last time for my carries. Today I did the same as the last time two weeks ago. Same wt, and it went much better! Longer distances between stops. I hope it continues this way.

farmers walks- #127 / hand misc distance

Then I walked Moss our long lovely weekend walk. I had to do laundry so between loads of the washer and dryer I went to the gym .
