3" Deficit Deadlift 445x5, this was a 25lbs PR over one I set last week. This is also better than any set of 5 I've done off of the floor.

Isnt really a PR, but it is fun. I know I can do more than this if I did it fresh, but this was after 12 sets of speed triples full rom with the earrings, and 12 sets of back work. Ill have to try these one day fresh.

Felt like hammered dog turds today, so decided to use some reverse light bands.

550 for 2, fairly easy off a 2 board. First shirted bench in a long, long time. Creepy serial killer dance PR as well:

Was going to start a thread about when you get hammered BY your PR, instead of nailing it. But figured here was a good place to ask.

Today I went to deadlift, and I like to work up to a single every second cycle on 5/3/1. Today though, what would normally be a good, final set of warm up - around 4 plates but, working up to it, 3 plates felt heavy as hell. 3.5 was a struggle and 4 was almost a max effort. I thought I was going to be sick pulling it.

What do you do after getting punished so hard by something that you can normally do?

I've been training for a while and know that not every session is a PR hitting one. But I can usually atleast work up to my old PR, or get within 10kg or so. This is just demoralising.

I haven't been this aggitated about missing lifts in a long time.

sexyxe: shitty days do occur, there are so many factors (rest, nutrition, stress levels, work, family...) just get over it and keep training. Be happy that it wasn't in a meet day.

Post easter dinner I hit a raw, beltless deadlift PR of 315 at 135 body weight, hook grip. Despite trying to fill out the 63kg weight class, (139lbs) my body wants to stay at 135.

Hit 145kg atg BS and 130kg FS tonight, BS yesterday as well. For my weight (240ish at 6'5) this is pathetic, going to try and start going high volume and get up to 182kg (400lbs) by October!

495x11.5 on deadlifts

Lost the 12th from falling forward onto my toes, but otherwise would've had it. Pretty amped about this.

Bodyweight 190.

Got my first 500 squat in competition!!

505 raw (wraps belt) @213lb BW on Saturday. 20lb meet PR. Video will be in my log when I edit them all together.

Also:

1250 total. 45lb meet PR

270 paused bench, missed 295. 5lb meet PR

475 DL, missed 505. 20lb meet PR, matched all time best.

Left about 40lb or so out there, but I did fairly well and my teammates got some PR's as well.

Also had a 485 lb power walk PR. LOL

Lost my groove on my 2nd attempt and took what felt like 6 steps to catch my balance and make sure I didn't dump it.

Still stood up with it but got red lighted for the steps.
