Isnt really a PR, but it is fun. I know I can do more than this if I did it fresh, but this was after 12 sets of speed triples full rom with the earrings, and 12 sets of back work. Ill have to try these one day fresh.

Was going to start a thread about when you get hammered BY your PR, instead of nailing it. But figured here was a good place to ask.
Today I went to deadlift, and I like to work up to a single every second cycle on 5/3/1. Today though, what would normally be a good, final set of warm up - around 4 plates but, working up to it, 3 plates felt heavy as hell. 3.5 was a struggle and 4 was almost a max effort. I thought I was going to be sick pulling it.
What do you do after getting punished so hard by something that you can normally do?
I've been training for a while and know that not every session is a PR hitting one. But I can usually atleast work up to my old PR, or get within 10kg or so. This is just demoralising.
I haven't been this aggitated about missing lifts in a long time.
sexyxe: shitty days do occur, there are so many factors (rest, nutrition, stress levels, work, family...) just get over it and keep training. Be happy that it wasn't in a meet day.

Post easter dinner I hit a raw, beltless deadlift PR of 315 at 135 body weight, hook grip. Despite trying to fill out the 63kg weight class, (139lbs) my body wants to stay at 135.

That's fabulous.
Wish you just resume your log in the O35s. I really, really miss you.
Hit 145kg atg BS and 130kg FS tonight, BS yesterday as well. For my weight (240ish at 6'5) this is pathetic, going to try and start going high volume and get up to 182kg (400lbs) by October!
