If the things you have read have advertised 5/3/1 as a bodybuilding program, stop reading those things, because they are stupid.
Oops.. I didn't mean 5/3/1 in general I meant the BBB template specifically. I recently transitioned from SS to 5/3/1 and am trying to find the best way to incorporate extra squatting volume into 5/3/1 since I feel like this is where I need the most work. I just was curious if doing sets of 10 was good for strength development because I have never really done above 5 and 10 is considered to be in the hypertrophy range.
BBB is just assistance work. The assistance work is there to make your primary lifts stronger, so in that way they WILL make you stronger.
You gotta get this "hypertrophy range/strength range" stuff out of your head here.
