I'd say you're a lock in the CJ. If you can find a roomier platform to train on!
Speculatively, I'd have to say Pendlay's offer is not age-class specific. But then, Pendlay's never faced da charms of an albino before.

SN from high hang
130 2x10 sets
CJ from high hang w/ double jerk
175 2x10 sets
Dropped a lot of those snatches due to being out front, but it finally settled down to where I was popping and dropping pretty good on the last sets.
same from CJ. Wasn't bringing the bar in close enough so I kept losing the clean forward. this settled down after a while too.
I'm very tired now.

Thanks Joe. I hope to make the next CJ at that weight with a bit more authority.

Gotta quit maxing on squatty stuff and start repping with speed for a while. Knee joint structures need to catch up to what the muscles can do.
Gunna try to get my son to come in with me tomorrow.

Strong work Tony. Hope your son gets into the O lifting. Those young guys are so flexible the O lifts may come a little easier. Not like an old, stiff guy like myself.

tried to speed through the CJ's because my right knee was making horrible sounds and feeling unstable, receiveing the clean. Better than 2 days ago, but still not right. Probably get better with some more rest. Found a groove on FS where it didn't make such a noise or cause pain so I did a bit more.
<edit>
I just realized that it wasn't my knees making that stretching fabric sound; it was my knee sleeves stretching. Same sound as my knee makes on squats.

You've morphed into quite the Oly lifter. You look a lot more confident in the lifts since I came buy. Pretty good for taking the style up at your, our, advanced age. Good going.

Hard night tonight. I felt good but everything was off and I seemed to be weaker than I felt. Maybe John Broz s right "How you feel is a lie." Pulled it together by staying pissed off. Wanted to give up after the first two missed SN, and then after 2 CJ's and again after the first work set on SQ. Didn't.

Alternating Jump splits

Rotator Cuff(inclined T's and W's)

Ballistic Pullups (no kip, touch chest to bar)
BW 5x3 sets
Knees okay today. I get real flare-ups of inflammation in the knees and back when I eat the snacky stuff at work (pastries, crackers, cake, cookies, all packaged). Gonna have to knock that off altogether. Last two days have been so painful I could barely get up and down the stairs in my house. Today, after no carbs of that type, those areas felt pretty good.
I could have gone higher in the PP, but since I wasn't using bumper plates I didn't want to chance having to drop the weights. Plus, some people kept walking very close to me as I was cleaning the bar. I saw every Squat Rack Curls scenario today...

This time it wasn't a horrible noise...it was a horrible pain. Well, not horrible - but it does encourage me not to bend it. At all.

No biggie. I can stil bench, press, row, DL and I bet I can low bar squat a good part of the way to parallel. So until I hear what the Dr. sez, I'm planning on progressing with what I've got. Full Cleans are def out though, for the time being.
May end up wearing a dead man's ligament in the near future. That would suck for about 6 months...

Been getting up out of my work-chair without using my hands. Requires a very wide stance, but it means I may be able to power squat if I keep an obtuse knee angle. And I very much want to squat. My chucks are still in a box somwhere. One of them is, anyway.

Impressive Oly lifts then a knee injury and slide right over to bench squats etc again with some real good weight.
Good on you man.
