Some recent pics. Been incorporating carb backloading (with copious amounts of junk food acutally) with much success, not really smoothing out and gaining muscle size/glycogen. Loving CT's new training style. Takes a little improv at the moment since he hasn't released a specific outline but basically been doing: 1. Jumps every day, 2. front lever holds every day 3. power holds every day, 4. ramping up various compound pushing movements every day. Playing around with order of thigns but in general finding myself getting leaner at an alarming rate even though I'm eating like absolute hell (12 doughnuts, pint of ben and jerry and 3 snicker bar post dinner today LOL)..
Very clear difference, nice work. Obviously all that matters are results so feel free to ignore what I'm about to say, but I wonder if your results would be better with optimal food choices?
Thanks for the comment weevo, appreciate it.I totally agree... if I eat more sensibly I get ripped up so I've been more mindful recently of food choices and will dial things in a bit. I can't say if it's the protcol or the dietary approach (fasting/backloading) that's allowing me to eat so much without noticeably smoothing out like I would in the past.
Some progress pics from today. This is about 4 weeks in (2 weeks technically as I was frankensteining his program with gymnastic rings before) CT's layering approach. Nutrient intake, like he says, is pretty key and i think if I'll need to up calories quite a bit as my strength/performance hasn't gone up much. ALl in all pretty happy and looking forward to more progres in 2013. Happy new years folks
