Holy Shit HIP! You look like you gained a good 25lbs. Serious progress there. I don't think people realize how much weight a tall guy needs to gain to actually look bigger.
Thanks Stand! Swinging for the fences for muscle gain lately, my utlra-high carb days seem to be paying off.
I think it is time for new measurements bro.

In the interest of chasing performance and not fatigue, and subsequently hypertrophy, a few changes:
- Continuing high carbing and now that I know finibars can be put in my blender this may take on a whole new meaning soon.
- Explosive jumps are now part of each workout.
- Increasing average daily prowler work weight by 45lbs, vs. increasing distance. Going to increase again in a week, and so on, we shall see what changes this sparks.
- I have been using MAG-10 prior to each meal for the past few days, gong to continue to do this as much as possible.
- Brain Candy....works.
- If i hit a PR (rep or weight) on any exercise I'm pretty mush done with it for that session, more exercises, but done with that movement. I learned my lesson chasing the deadlift PR and short circuiting my CNS.
From this last weeks workouts:
Bench Press rep PR 365 x 3 x 3
* After my 405 PR the prior week - this was my first attempt at 405 ever so the first time I have held that much weight in that position, much like a walk out performed on squats, I think this 1 rep with 405 amped up my CNS, which in turn just made everything just feel a tad lighter this week on chest thus new rep PR)
* Dead lifting back on track after recovering from CNS blow out:
465 x 8...and done! Solid set felt good walked away from it. Did a set of Romanians 315 x 15. Volume low, performance high.
I ended the last dead lift rotation with a rep PR of 505 x 4 x 2, then hitting a single PR with 545 at Synergy's gym. I'm not setting any records with weight but the dead lift has really transformed my back since starting the indigo project workouts. It makes me wish I hadn't just started focusing on them in the last year, however I see 600lbs for me this year if I can keep my recovery in check.
* Biceps this week, normally nothing notable on biceps to speak of ever really, but this week I managed to knock out a a straight bar curl set of 155lb x 12 solid as hell reps. That felt great.
Last weigh in was 287 a few days after last pic.
Vacation planned, sans children and on my birthday....contemplating on not lifting a single weight. I always say I'm not going to lift on vacation, and then the place will have a killer gym, or a reverse hyper or T-Nation trap bar or something I just have to do. Hopefully I can find more entertaining things. :-)

Thanks Stand, - trying not to bore everyone with my exact workout, just the highlights, pursuant to my changes. Right now the changes I am making are having a big impact.

Thanks Bob. I guess curls might be one of the only things tall guys are good at! You just have to keep telling your self to find the performance...anyone can make themselves exhausted with volume of work....but can you do better than you did last time? can you lift more? can you get one more rep for the same weight? Find it!

Thanks Dr. Dan. I credit CT for a lot of my recent shoulder development, he showed me how to take my traps out of the movement.
The tricep hold depends on the prior movement, or movements after. I never do the holds by themselves. If I do the hold first, hold for 10-15, then jump to the rope press down. Or if I do rope press downs first, then I jump to the band holds for as long as I can physically stand it.
I have gotten to he point of training where the tricep press down, at least at my gym, I can do the whole stack like cardio so I have switched over to band movements and holds to keep progressing. I need to quit procrastinating and order the hand grenade grips from ELTFTS. That will take the band work to a whole new dimension.

My picture didn't stick. But yes X, we can be friends but this eventually requires that we have to eat cheeseburgers sometime, somewhere.

The Grenades are awesome Hip. I have the 3" one and it really lets you get some great training done. Its about the size of a Tennis Ball if that gives you a good reference. The 4" would be a bit big for me, but you are literally 100 pounds larger... so those might be viable for you, especially if you use both hands at the same time.
The way I use them here is the Tricep press down, but with the elbows point away from each other, instead of tucked into the body. It lets you hit the inside portion of the tricep much better than a V-Handle or even a regular Rope attachment

Thanks Lonnie! I know that's a blast to the arms. I need those. Okay so ordering. Best part about Ohio is I can go right down to Rogue fitness and buy them!

You know what is really crazy? Despite his size, Hip moves like a cat. He is surprisingly quick on his feet and his CNS jumps are more graceful than mine!
