Thanks... Well 12 weeks out... The gloves come off!
Time to crank it up and get into shape.....
Indigo is down.. FINiBARs on the way to the gym....
BC and a few Spike tabs.... Sounds like a party!

Did all the traditional activation stuff.
Circa max seated log three singles with 350
Did yoke, farmers, conans wheel,sand bag loading
Just stayed light and worked technique... Went 80 ft on
Yoke with 650 in 15 sec... Felt pretty fast
Went to the gym and did a ton of suspension training/ holds/
Rings and finished with 2- 100yard prowler pushes!

Took a three hour nap ... Took 6 indigo and headed to eat with my
Wife.
Very sore already from not training events... Tomorrow I will do a bunch of
Sled work and body weight work.
Looked at calendar wrong.... 11 weeks and 14 weeks out from
Competitions!
I will be taking a few more pictures and new videos soon!

Forgot to bring home BC... So I will drink it at 5 and take my alcar and spike..... Not optimal but it will have to do.

Run- just for the record I hate to run.... 2 miles today... A run
Tues and weds then race Saturday!

super set leg curls and GHR...180X10/BWX10 for 5 sets-hammy's screaming
suspension Y's and T's 5sets of 20 super setted with rg chin 66lbx x6sets of 6 reps and axle military press 2x 4 sets of 5
finished with 4 sets of 50yard prowler sprints....then jogged 1/2mile in 4min-that sucked cause my legs were pumped!

Okay....so at the speed of business my workout today was snuffed out.....SUCK!
Two unexpected visitors ( now clients ) stopped in to eat up an hour of my life!
Atleast I have two new gym clients.....I will just have to push it extra hard tomorrow!

Dropped the periworkout nutrition.......opted for 4 Flameout and 2 Metabolic Drive Low Carb @2PM

5:30PM-6 Indigo-3G/2 scoops MAG-10.....Planning on eating for maximum fullness@ 7pm


Tomorrow Boot is at 5:30 and I will train at 7am-9:30am.....hopefully squeak in second session?

Snatch position holds into power snatch-2 rep/2 rep/ 1 rep
Worked up to 235
Speed chin8x3, butt loads of bands and reverse hypers
Speed Viking press 210+ 2- monster minis 8x 3... Avg speed was 3.2 sec per set
Speed car dead+200 lbs- 10 singles with jumps before the last five reps .49-.65 sec per rep- the jumps made a big difference!
Circa cluster
Axle floor press- worked up to a single with395... Then hit305x9
Chain squat-220in chain plus 380 in weights 8 sets of 2
Ring tuck levers with leg ext- 8 sets of 2-1 rep with each leg
Chin holds....5 sets max time
Finished with 220 chain plus 250 weight for a set of 20 squats
Partner did prowler suicide50y/40y/30y/20y/10y- took 4 min 20sec- he did not look good
So yes I will try it tomorrow.... After 6 sec burst sprints for 10-15 sets or when I cannot get 20 plus yards

Post had2 scoops recovery/ 1 Power Drive@4:15
My boys made breakfast for dinner.... Pancakes from rice flour with Metabolic Drive/// egg whites/// rice toast... Had
That at 5pm... My youngest said I was looking skinny and needed to eat!

Tight ham s from yesterday... So I do 20 min on elliptical/
Hip and hammy mobility/ prowler suicide-300 yd/ 4 min 8 sec
Hip ham and quad static stretch.... Feel great now!

Trained 12:30-4....@12:15 took Brain Candy and 2 Spike....if you can handle the stims- this is INCREDIBLE!
Reverse hypers/bands/speed chins mixxed with some jumps and explosive push ups
ended up cleaning 253x1 with a 2 inch bar
Dynamic effort squats....1 Jump then 2 reps wih 325...I was so jacked and focused on the Brain Candy/Sspike comb I was coming off the ground with the....partner film the last set- I relly focused on exploding as hard as possible and came off the ground a few inches!!!!!!!!
axle rack OH holds worked up to 403X3 SEC....did some lockouts and they were good...at the end I did 275x10 push press-it was easy!
butloads of pull ups-worked up to 110x2
farmes pickes-215x6 singles
yoke worked up to 840x30ft with no belt...then went 700x80ft in 13.2 seconds
RING WORK has made my core insane...I actually thought 840 was 820-misload! last time I yoked I hit 650x15 sec..today was much better!
Conans wheel went up to 550x1 revolution both clockwise and counter clockwise
PENDLEY rows-335x 3sets of 5 then 285 for 2 sets of 10....1-100yd prowler sprint-24 sec-legs were a bit gooey from all the walking....plus need to save a bit for Tomorrows-SPARTAN RACE with my family.....not really but sounded good at the time!

Everything is feeling healthy....260 was my weight and the leanest I have been since college!

Chad, All I can say is wow! I don't think that folks can appreciate the amount of work that is unless they have done some of those implements. I am extremely impressed. You are a work horse my friend.

My wife, daughter and I did the SPARTAN RACE this last weekend...it was a family bonding experience....4 miles of mud/hills/fire/water pits/barbed wire/ponds/cargo nets/ropes to climb...you name it....had a great time...RUN one if you are near one!

It was about 40 degrees and only 70% of the people that did the race finished....I thought I might die while swimming across a retention pond, but I made it and finsihed the race while carrying my wife through every hole of water and pond on the course......
Trained yesterday:
Did all oly lifts and then dynamic effort.....my obliques are still sore from crawling through 100yards of barbed wire/ plenty of bruises and scraps...but it was the most fun I had in a long time!

Back on the stick tomorrow!

Did position 1&2 holds for power snatch - worked up to 245 doing2/2/1 reps
These were clustered with reverse hypers/ speed pull ups/ various band work/ explosive push ups

Dynamic deadlift-395x. 6 singles- all were under .65 sec
Speed squat-383x8sets of2.... Very fast under 3.5 sec per set
Circa
Reverse band axle - hit new gearless pr of 405- did a jump before each rep
Clustered them with hang pulls- 355x3 was top set
Pull ups- 125x5 for new pr
Max effort
Log bench320x18- new rep pr
Clustered with pull ups 55x12
Finished with hammer pull down and 1 arm db incline
Ring work and holds are helping
Weigh 260 this morning.... Working on a few new vids

yoke 870x30ft-no belt-current pr...then 550x90ft in 11 sec

axle over head-circa max-hit 347x1-no gear then hit pr in oh squat lockout of 447x1-no gear
farmers walk- no gear 335x30ft-pick felt easy
conan's wheel-715x1 turn counter clock wise...no belt current pr
then a bunch of pumper stuff.

boys have baseball all weekend...out of town for travel baseball so probably wont get back to gym til Monday....

This was from Friday afternoon...the log row hold was an experiment/along with a squat hold by my partner.....needless to say he held 225 at parrallel for 50 seconds-he is sore!

Snuck in Sat to do some stones and condition before leaving for my sons travel baseball tourney....

I will be tossing up a few more pictures and video's soon.
260 and holding....my goal by ASM is to weigh 264 and be 10%....not there yet, but leaner than I was!
