Is This a Normal Feeling After Workout?

I have been doing hard workouts lately that afterwards I've a shaky body,(hard to walk) and I toss my cookies right after... Am I going too hard or am I just sick? I feel fine after?

If you're been training for a while and are just noticing this recently, I'd think about how or if you've changed your training or diet. It could be a case of doing too much too soon or it could just be a lingering stomach bug. No real way to tell without more info.

It's absolutely not normal to feel like that after training.

Details about exactly what your workouts look like (exercises, sets, and rep) and what you're eating during the day will be much more informative.

By the way, I took a quick look at your other threads. Great work on the fat loss so far. Keep it going.

Thanks everyone. I took a look at all my workouts and eating. Nothing has changed much except that I added 2 HOT-ROX right before my workout. They are still new to me so I think i will go back down to 1 till I get used to them a bit more.

Monday Weights

Super Sets of...
Barbell Deadlift 45lb x 10=3
Single leg Dumbbell squat 10lb x 8=3 (I have crappy knees)

Barbell Bench 30lb x 10=3
Push ups bw x 10=3

Single leg Good mornings (barbell)10lb x 8 = 3
Single leg cable squat with 25lb resistant band x 6=3

Dumbbell Fly 8lb x 12 = 3
Single arm cable press with 25lb resistant band x 8 = 3

I usually eat 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal before I workout. I know this is not the best workout but I'm just starting. I'll get better as I go.

Betsy, Welcome. And that workout shouldn't be making you sick. If the nausea continues, you should see a physician. It could be so many things.

I had guessed you were overdoing the cardio too soon. I can't eat much before I go running or I get sick, and I've run a 5K too fast and wanted to barf after. Running in the heat of the day will do that too. You want to stay hydrated.

I've never had a problem with nausea when lifting, although I do often get heartburn. Shaky legs walking out of the gym after lifting heavy on leg day is a good thing, but you shouldn't feel light headed or shaky all over.

if you have crappy knees, why use single leg movements? they put extra emphasis on the joint. try wide-stance box squats

this could be the key. you're having them with oatmeal, which should diminish that effect somewhat, but i found they made me real nauseous throughout my workout.

I'd bet dollars to low-carb donuts that's the issue.

Some people do have a reaction to certain stimulants or ingredients in fat burners, so it's always best to start with the lowest possible dose and gradually work up if needed. Taking them with food, like you're doing, should also help reduce any unwanted effects, but it also depends a bit how soon before the workout you're eating/taking them.

I know this is not the best workout but I'm just starting. I'll get better as I go.

And yeah, we can definitely tweak your training and nutrition (from the sound of it) for even better results.

Nah I it's pretty normal.
About once a week I finish my workouts shaking, trembling and generally tweaked out
until I get something to eat in me.
Most likely from putting myself into a hypoglycemic state
This is also the only time when I am likely to become a violent person.

After spending time in jail with very little to eat
I've developed an extremely short fuse when it comes to people coming between me and my food.
And pretty much every fight I have ever been was because someone was keeping me from eating.

Maybe this isn't normal
But I always train best with an empty stomach.
And you're probably just taking too many stimulants with too much in your stomach.
When I took NOXplod, I'd have to wait about two hours after eating anything to drink some
or my stomach and guts would feel like Xploding.
