In my opinion and experience, digestive health is one of the biggest factors in helping skinny guys build muscle and gain weight... I kind of knew I had digestive problems for most of my life but didn't really know what to do about it (or if there was even anything I could do about it) Thankfully I found a trusted source that introduced me to quality digestive enzymes/probiotics and these have made a HUGE difference.

Sometimes (or often) its not how much food you eat but how much you absorb and use. If your digestive system is wrecked, eating a ton of calories probably won't do you a lot of good.

Just thought I'd add that to the list of advice.

thats incredibly interesting. how do you know if its wrecked?
which enzymes did you use?

...

before i got sidetracked i came to post my housemates favourite snack idea. Its awesome.

cheese with peanut butter on top.

Hi Guys,

I've been training off and on for a while now but am wanting to take it more seriously. I'm wanting to gain weight gradually and not make the mistake of "all out bulking" and just ballooning. I'm 26 and around 155-160lbs and am currently eating 3000kcals with c.150g protein.

My question is, is this adequate, or should I be looking to up this?

Cheers guys (go easy - first post!!)

If you're steadily gaining weight, around 1-3 lbs per month, and consistently getting stronger at basic lifts, you're eating enough. If you're gaining 3+ lbs a month, or not gaining weight, and/or not gaining strength, your diet is inadequate, or downright shitty.

Get this. It helps.

Arm yourselves with knowledge. The more you know the less stupid you look in front of the veterans.

And if you're drinking milk, just remember that milk is for babies.

I'm curious. Was this a joke? I always thought of milk as a great bulking tool. I've gained a lot of weight that way in the past when money was tight.

Watch Pumping Iron. That's where the joke comes from, and it's also the most entertaining documentary you'll ever see.

I don't know if this is the right forum for this question but I need an answer on this ASAP, I'm thinking of starting to take TESTOFORCE tablets and I've had them sat here for a while now but I take 10mg citalopram anti-depressant tablets for anxiety, I want to know if these two will clash with each other and make my anxiety worse. Thanks.
