As a reader from issue #1, I'm glad to see "TMUSCLE" going back to its roots (even though it makes me feel really old;-).

I've also been here since issue number one as well. Found TC and the boys after the demise of MM2k and have never looked back...I think the new/old format is solid.

As long as you keep "printing" articles by great authors for free I am happy! Keep up the great work guys.
Note to the tech guys though: I use Google Chrome and the formatting of the homepage and the banner at the top is a little messed up, just FYI.

Love it. Bring back the printed mag with nutsack supplement ratings while you're at it.

But you already used to show the most recent five or so articles on the homepage anyway. And had links to various categories of articles. So I don't think new readers would ever judge T-Nation based only on its most recent article.
The magazine format is better for me in that I only have to check the homepage once a week. I'm not sure I get why you guys did it though (unless you just felt like being really nice ;) ).

I also wonder: Will the magazine format result in less article discussion? It seems there might be less comments per article if they are posted all at once, no?

This is awesome. Now if you would bring back MAG-10 to celebrate going back to the old ways we'd be all set. haha

Actually I know LOTS of people who only come here for the articles....
This post will probably get deleted.....The more you slide from "knowledge" to "selling supplements" the more good contributers leave. Why pay "outsiders" for articles when you have a so-called "team of experts" on the payroll.
It's all good. People gotta make a living somehow. I find it funny that the number of articles have been dwindling down for a while now...and all of sudden it's because of this "new format".
Cheers.
Alan

Big Smile on my face! -lol. I still have my old paper issues, all post-noted up, with scribbles and highlights all over the pages! I learned so much about training and nutrition from those old paper mags, that I can't wait to see what direction Tim, TC and the boys steer the ship in!

For a few seconds I thought the paper issue was back. Going back to the weekly issue? That's even better. The days of settling down Saturday morning to read the Friday night issue and assimilate all the knowledge bombs? I loved those days.
Please tell me Reader Mail will be back in some form.

Very cool. I always loved the old reader mail section. Packed with lots of good info and entertainment value. I had a bunch of questions published back in the day. While your at it bring back Tim Patterson's Behind The Scenes column! It was the best!
