I hit the gym (with a workout partner) 5x week around 7am, without fail. I'm usually up around 6am and down a shot of GPC (as prescribed) and start to sip on the anaconda 2 drink by around 6:30am...and continue during the workout and finish it about 15 mins after the workout.

Question: Given that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, would it be ideal to eat breakfast as soon as I got up (few omega 3 eggs, some oats, etc) or wait until 30 mins post-workout and let the anaconda 2 drink serve as a "wakeup meal"?

Just trying to fine tune the peri/post workout window and get the most out of my workouts/nutrition.

I think it would depend on you. Can you train on a full stomach? Does being hungry in the gym bother you? Other than that, how's what you're doing now working? If it aint broke don't fix it.

Currently I can roll with just sipping on the drink and getting through the 40-50 minute workout(s) and have food about 20-30 minutes later when I get to work, but I just wanted to get some ideas if I migh be missing a small element or if I could fine tune it for even better results, is all.

Hmm, I think Bill Roberts mentioned that he had some whey and coconut oil 30 or so minutes prior to the protocol. That might help, since having a full meal close to the protocol might slow it down.

I don't think it is necessary to eat anything else. If I workout first thing in the morning. I consume the full protocol as my breakfast and have a solid food meal 1 hour after training.

I assume this is ANACONDA Protocol 2 then? Maybe add in a FINiBAR when you wake up if you feel you don't have energy at the beginning of your workouts. I've added one 60 minutes before my workout and they do help out.
