Way, how long before you workout are you eating the bars? 20-30min before you workout is around the time you should have them, i start 30min beforehand and because i'm doing the full protocol, 3 bars, 3scoops ANACONDA 2scoops MAG-10, i usually make sure i give extra time than i normally do between meals, in this case i start the protocol 3 1/2 hours after my last meal, so that my stomach is somewhat clear.
I find i really experience the "pulse" aspect by doing this, i'm usually pretty energized and awake, which is why i no longer need the use of caffeine.
Also, the carbs that are used in the bars should not cause a big crash but in fact stabalize your blood sugar levels way.
