Since The Wolverine is released later this month i'm in full wolverine mode and plan to do 6 days till shredded for the midnight showing.

I will start it Saturday 20th and will document what i'm eating, drinking, training as well as weight and pics each day.

I'm genuinely interested to if the protocol has any merit and obviously this will provide a chance for anyone else interested in doing it to see what results can be attained.

HOWEVER, in the unlikely scenario I get accepted into the underwear comp (which happens before then) I will obv have to dingy it.

Hey rattlehead been following along but not commented till now. Great work mate I admire your dedication and just to jump on the bandwagon the new avi looks great, there's a surprising amount of meat on those lats :)

Keep up the good work and I hope you get through to the latter stages of the cover comp, however I've got a feeling these things are judged somewhat as a beauty pageant but I hope your hard work pays off mate

Yeah the comp may be a bit shitty that way, hopefully I can scrape into the top 15 with the condition I have and my sob story.

I would have taken a regular physqiue/bodybuilding prep and show over this any day, its fucking shit being dieted down and having to wait weeks upon weeks to find out if you have gotten somewhere whilst trying to cling on to condition, train all out and have some form of social life.

But thats just me being a cry baby lol

Sounds like you have the same garage gym layout as i do lol, i only have rings too.


If you have two barbells, you can lay them across the safety bars and do dips on them. You can buy pipe insulation and use that for padding.

Just an idea.




Rattlehead ~~~ here is what I have ~ very nice addition to the garage gym. You can set them to be "spotter bars just above your chest on bench day, and they double as dipping bars. www.newyorkbarbells.com/1020.html (I have the C-1020-2B DUAL PURPOSE)

Not sure these guys ship to your side of the pond, but hopefully they will.

BTW, great progress! That Christmas Tree is looking sharp.

Shoot me a pm sometime, I'd love to get some insight on your approach to diet also. I'm at 188 lbs currently (a cut of 37 lb so far)~ but still need to drop another 15 lbs to meet my target contest weight.

It has been 34 weeks since the start and the fucking comp still isn't closed for another week, by my face you can see I'm ecstatic.

In general news i'm eeking my way up to 166lbs, upped the cardio this week because I have been lazy with it.

Been doing 2 HIT days and as much 30 min sessions of steady state I honestly feel I can do without messing with my workouts.

Will probably start a workout log at the start of my next 5/3/1 cycle.

Diet right now is;

2pm - Two Cans of Tuna, Rocket, Balsamic Vinegar and 4 & 1/2 dessert spoons of Olive Oil.
PreWorkout- 1 scoop of Maltrodextrin, 2 scoops of Whey, 3 Fish Oils and 3 Evening primrose oil.
PostWorkout - 1 scoop of Maltrodextrin and 2 scoops of Whey.
8-10pm - 260g steamed Chicken, 10 teaspoons of peanut butter.

Cheat meals have been simmered down, instead of having a day of filling my face I have one cheat meal and some snacks.
