Ok, so I'm doing the routine in this article because it looks awesome, but I have a question. Day 3, Friday, looks like this:

Friday
Exercise Sets Reps
A Front squat 3 5/3/1
B Press 3 5/3/1
C Rows 3 10
D DB press 3 10
E 4-Way neck 3
F Sit-ups 3 20

My question is does exercise D (DB press) refer to dumbell bench presses or dumbell overhead presses? I have to do this workout in about 3 hours, so a speedy reply will be appreciated!

Generally with Wendler's work (and Rippetoe's too), "press" is a barbell standing press (overhead). "DB press" would be flat bench.

Just out of curiosity, if you didn't get an answer in three hours, what was the plan?

Dumbell bench press, so I guessed right anyway! It seems that, in this routine, there is at least one exercise targeting the chest/horizontal press in all three workouts, so that's what I was gonna go with.
