leg press and hack squat are what builds the biggest legs, IMO.
it has been said before, it depends. some people can build HUGE quads from squatting, others, like myself, with 20 plus years of more 500-600lb squats than i can count, have very little quad development.
depends on how you squat, and volume and loading.
i can post vids and pics of Olympic lifters with better quad development than 90% of the people who claim to be "bodybuilders" on this site, and tall they do is squat and front squat, never more than 3 reps a set either.
