It's obvious my hotel gym won't do, so my first assignment before Plazma arrives is to find a gym that can accommodate my needs and figure out the best schedule to go train. I'm really pressed for time with my new enterprise so I have to plan everything strictly.
First workout with Plazma today, inopportune timing since there was a business crisis that left me with only 30 mins to exercise. Still got in all of the back training, with the only exclusion of the deadlifts at the end.
The pump was noticable, and I bet if I had more time and more focus I would have got the maximum out of it. Will have another go tomorrow.
Not sure what the consensus is on sharing training data now, since the plan is one of the things you pay for... can I not share what exercises I do now?
Completed chest and shoulder workout today. I must be honest, I was very doubtful of today's workout since it seemed to include less volume and uncommon exercises... boy was I wrong. Just on the first exercise (machine chest press) the pump was so hard that I thought I'd cramp up. It took every ounce of willpower to crank out all the reps.
Afterwards felt like a million bucks, looked 2x bigger (in my imaginary world).
Plazma in combination with a Meadows routine is just insanity, I love it!
Feel like a lil chemist mixing all these different drinks with nalgene labware, awesome :)
Yesterday was arm day in the JM plan. The supersets and rep/set schemes really make the difference, by the third exercise my triceps were absolutely smoked and I had to do everything in my power to complete the reps. Next day (today) my biceps are very sore, it's a good thing there's a scheduled off day and then the new week starts off with legs.
Tomorrow I'll finally be able to post accurate measurements and photos, have been away for business.
I really want to document this properly because the FFB in me is incredibly afraid of about triple the per-workout intake as opposed to classic-style Anaconda. So far the Plazma experience has been unreal.
Trained legs yesterday, again the volume *looks* on the low-end but the setup of reps/execution makes it a killer. Especially the leg press and leg extension variations. After spending 3hrs standing at a concert later that night my legs absolutely killed me, could barely get up the stairs. Pumped in two more MAG-10 pulses at night and there is no soreness to be found in the morning... love it!
Due to travel, work and a Gaga concert (yes I know) I couldn't get to the gym til well after midnight. Knocked out the C+S training for the day including the entire peri protocol. Then only took a MAG-10 and a spoonful of Nuttzo just before I hit the pillow. Probably not the most optimal way of training but I'll be damned if I miss a day :)
Off day today, enough work to do so it's a welcome pause.
Back into the game with a heavy back day. Wasn't able to establish a good pump on this, had the same problem on this exact training last week. I think I'm more of a lat specific man... hope the updated plan contains more of that.
Tomorrow is C+S Pump, really excited, I loved this one last week.
I've been working with John for about 18 months now and have seen crazy progress. My advice for back training is to start about 25% lighter then you think. Ramp up each exercise after you have the mind muscle connection. For 1 arm rows it might take me 15 minutes of just warming up and ramping up as I really establish the lat pump. From there I will hammer some heavier weight and my Lats are smashed. Awesome feeling. Try this out and let me know how it goes.
Measurements taken 2 hours after waking up, after my breakfast (eggs).
Biceps and triceps are unreliable skinfold measurements since it's impossible to pinch the skin and then apply caliper all with one hand. Triceps I didn't manage to get any measurement, biceps I kinda just went in there and grabbed it softly with the calipers.
I think there will be a program update today, but I got my leg training in @ 9AM so I just went by the current program. Can't day that it bores me or that I have fully mastered going all out on this after just 2-3 times so I think it's fine.
Hamstring and calf pump was incredible today, however I was unable to attain a good quad pump, not sure why.
I'm happy to finally find an exercise/rep scheme that works my calves well, this has always been my weakest spot and I had actually given up targeting it at all.
Also wondering if we need 3 doses of Plazma every workout, for leg day it's a must but I'm wondering if the rest of the days can be done on 2 doses. The 1500ml liquid (preceded and followed by MAG-10) leave me so bloated and sluggish.
@jed: yeah I really think that mastering the technique is the most important aspect of getting a quality contraction, it's less about heavy weights and more about mind-muscle connection.
Today's C+S was great, I did not quite have a setup for the reverse band BP but managed to improvise something that looked like it. Feeling unsatisfied without my "Destroyer" set at the end, so I was sneaky enough to add it in. Maybe this allows for an extra finibar? :)
Scheduled off day today, very welcome too as I'm starting to feel very tired. Almost fell asleep midway through the day, very low on energy all day... I'm wondering if the mythical monster that is adrenal fatigue is rearing its ugly head, or that it's just too little quality sleep and too much stress.
Just finished heavy back-day, some great movements in there. I just love everything about this program, I can't wait for tomorrow's workout which is arguable one of my favorite days (can you say chest pump?).
Soon will be breaking open the last tub of Plazma, cannot even imagine training without it anymore!
