It's been a few days, since my last update....

Yesterday was an off day. I mean "off" in every sense of the word. I only got in two pulses of MAG-10, and it felt like something was missing.

Nevertheless, today, it was back to work and had a hell of a Back routine laid out by JM.

In this phase, we were challenged to exceed last week's annihilator set on the chained deadlift. Unfortunately, I could only match it this week.
We will see what the next phase has in store.

Definitely loving the "Meadows Row" -- my new favorite back exercise.

I went from 25 to 30 but my grip gave out (even with straps!)... it's sad.

Definitely missing the MAG-10 too when I don't have 4 pulses... at this point I've come to love the flavor so much I would just drink it because it tastes so good.

@rhod: I agree! I find myself sipping on MAG-10 more so throughout the day...just because of the taste.
I am sold on Lemon flavor for MAG-10. Then I use Lime purely for PLAZMA.

Program 1.3 - Day 1: Legs (Heavy)

So after bidding farwell to program 1.2 this weekend, it's time for another chapter.
Following an off day with plenty of rest/Elite Mineral Pro, and fueled by a Brain Candy nap this AM...I was ready to hit the next phase with high energy.

Today was leg day, as is the beginning pattern of the Reactive Pump Program. I found myself "extending" the workout by including more activation sets. Just something light, but very explosive.

I responded really well to the leg curl variations. In fact, each week I am beginning to feel them even more.
The squat session was "easier" this week too. Easy is not something that I would ever describe a JM workout, but I found that "switch" that he was talking about. You could see it on my face, and I didn't want to leave the squat rack! Hahaha.

Today's stand-out movement was the one labeled leg extension, but it was a lunge with chains. That's right, chains - not a bar. It was two sets - the first one required one chain and 10 reps on one leg, then 10 reps on the other. After that set, I felt my quads beg for mercy, but I wasn't in the mood.
I consumed another 250ml of PLAZMA and hit the second set with a fury. When that was through, it was a struggle to hold the stretch for 30 seconds. Yet, I did and had to sit a bit before moving to the next.

Diet, again, is where I need to be more disciplined. Since I am the one buying groceries this week, I will be in more control to have better options in the house.

Supplement-wise, it's still the same: INDIGO-3G, PLAZMA, and MAG-10 are the forefront. Brain Candy and Elite Mineral Pro are consumed morning/evenings.
I do have two tubs of Metabolic Drive Muscle Growth, and was going to utilize that in case I am not able to adhere to the lunch time diet choices.

Question for JM: If you had to outline a conditioning routine for the off days, what would it be? I have access to battle ropes, kettlebells, and a prowler. I am just thinking about summer. :)

Keep up the good work, "Reactors".

Where do you go wrong with diet? Not enough cals? Too much? Wrong food choices?

Wrong food choices. I have been gluten free since last December, and that's going very good.

Yet... I find myself snacking more. :) So I'm changing the strategy a bit to either consume veggies, since we can have as much as we want - or depending on the timing, add another MAG-10 pulse.

Then there are times when work schedule doesn't permit enough time to prepare dinner at home, and we go out...etc. That's an area that I need to plan better.

I'm sticking with the 3600 plan option.

Program 1.3 - Day 2: Chest/Shoulders (Heavy)

By far, my absolute favorite workout day. Is it any wonder that it is also the same day that gives us 7 exercises?! Hahaha.

I was able to go heavier on the reverse band bench press, than last week. Other than that, it was just pure PLAZMA pump goodness.

I definitely enjoyed the Dumbbell Twist Press that Coach JM introduced. Probably my favorite of the session.
I wonder how this workout would feel on 5 sccops of PLAZMA?

Program 1.3 - Day 3; Back (heavy)

I have heard it said that back workouts deliver the best pump. The kind where you feel it all day.

After today's session, I would have to agree with them.

Today's standout movement was the "Stretcher"! Coach JM had it placed in a very proper spot in the rotation, following dumbbell pullovers.

So with the pullovers, the lats just endured 3 sets of constant tension. Then when you introduce the stretcher -- OMG --- you can really feel it hit. I confess that I enjoyed this so much, that I performed an extra two sets.

It's like I couldn't get enough this morning. PLAZMA and INDIGO-3G had me going at optimal performance.

Unfortunately, I forgot my bands at home. So I performed the hyperextension with a kettlebell. Both sets, I could only do 10 reps to failure. Which tells me that I could give my lower back some added attention.

Belated recap --

Thanks to a busy work schedule & family events, this is the first chance that I have to update my log.

The Chest/Shoulders (pump) workout was good. I wasn't feeling 100% that day, but still had a productive workout.

I have to say that this programs' Arm session is very good! I am still feeling it on the next day. The hammer curl sets was my absolute favorite.
