Im a person with a really high metabolism, you can coun't me in in the "hardgainers" list. Im very skinny by default, 2 years ago I eat junkfood 3 times a week and still didn't weigh more than 149.6 lbs (that was actually the heaviest I've ever been)
Any way I adopted a new lifestyle some time ago by enrolling in a boxing gym for a year. Because of various reason's i've quit boxing and my current training plan is Cardio 3-5 days a week (it depends on my timetable) and Weight Lifting.
Lately I've become way more concious of my diet.
I don't really know if I should be cutting or bulking though. Right now im just eating as much healthy food as I can (tuna, salad, chicken breast, brown rice, etc.) Cause I did a serious cutting diet for a week but I looked way to skinny, not very attractive for the ladies.. haha.
So maybe you can give me some advice? Should I eat more or less?
Pd: Sory about the low quality picture, I have some more but don't know how to post more than one picture.
Usually my sets consist of reps of 10-8-6. I go along adding more weight each time. First I do back, then chest. I do some abs then. After the abs I do biceps and triceps. After that I finish with bench pressing again. The whole routine takes me 1 1/2 Hour. 30min of Cardio and 1 hour of weightlifting.
(English is not my native language, I know this doesn't give too much information but I don't know the names of the specifics in English or the names of the machine. I didn't come up with the routine myself, I explained the trainers of the gym my goals and they set it up for me)
Start lifting and use a real program.
*keep a lifting journal if you want to make progress. "adding weight each time" is not a program.
Eat with a goal in mind. In your case I would try to add muscle since it looks like you have never spent serious time in a gym. Not trying to hurt your feeling here but cutting now would just leave you skinny.
Going to the Gym 5 times a week, should I supplement with Creatine?
i would focus more on what you're eating on a daily basis. In my opinion i don't think you really know whether you're a hardgainer or not. Try eating 4,000 calories a day for two weeks and let us know whether you've made any progress on the scale. Im serious too. Every time you sit down, feast. Try to do it 4 times a day and have a protien shake and some applesauce after you lift.
Creatine is a SUPPLEMENT and should SUPPLEMENT a well balanced diet and training program.
