Not science. It was a secret Trade off of music during the 80's. The powers that be thought it would bring the races together if we both agreed to listen to milk toast style artist.
You gave us Phil Collins
We gave you Lionell Ritchie.

I love treco's avatar too and I always recognize his posts as being funny or quite intelligent. Pretty good for a guy who's been here as long as me but only 200+ posts!

Indeed!
How many people have checked my hub for pics only to be disappointed that I have neither a mullet or a shotgun?

True, but I was MOST disappointed when I found out Lanky Mofo didn't look anything like his avatar.

Well, I'm not guilty of that...I hate Bob Saget....but I also of course couldn't help but think of whatever he said as coming from a muscular Bob Saget....so I see where people are coming from when they talk about my Rowdy Roddy Piper avatar.
The funny thing is even though I knew he was Canadian for the longest time, I only found out two weeks ago that he lived in Winnipeg from about age 7 to 18!

Sususudio - I am guilty of hearing and enjoying this.
Phil Collins and Huey Lewis made deals with the Devil in the 80's to make me not only listen but turn up the radio to that otherwise bad music.
460, is the heart of rock 'n roll still beatin'?
LOL!
God, I couldn't stand Hewey Lewis either.
Then again, I hated almost all chart-topping music in the 80's.
I have a '90's boot of Huey Lewis play harmonica with the Dead. Talk about strange bed fellows...

That would be like Bruce Hornsby playing keyboards for the Dead. Wait, that happened didn't it.

Not sure where that pic came from - Hillbilly with a 'Wormwood' hat - Google search? It isn't saved on either of my computers.
Thanks for the nice words Nards.
