Yes, women can take it too far once they start to look like men in drag...but lifting without anabolics does not usually induce that appearance.

Can it ever? Do women have the physiology to get to that point w/o any chemical assistance?

Some can. They would no doubt know this, however, long before they actually started training seriously due to the ease at which they gain muscle mass. No matter what population you speak of, there will always be those at polar ends of the spectrum.

Very true. I don't think most people know that women naturally have testosterone as well. So if they have endocrine issues like low estrogen they could gain more muscle than normal. But long before getting buffed they would know they had an issue shaving their face everyday.

I found women who worked out hard, and who had muscle not only physically attractive, but more attractive that they valued their health, physique, and reaching whatever personal goals they had. To me it is a sign of self worth and value that is diminishing in today's troubled times.

I've always thought that a woman, who is already naturally attractive, will only enhance her attractiveness through lifting. It isn't possible for 98% of women to get 'too big', based solely on biochemistry. I made that number up in case there is one out there, but I seriously doubt it.

Of course, a chick with man-face isn't doing herself any favors by having muscles.

As far as chemical enhancement goes, I don't like the idea of a girl shooting test into her right glute, call me crazy. Generally, I like to know I've got more free test than someone without testicles.

But that's probably an ego thing.

Muscular women are only looked down upon by smaller men. In a society where men don't lift weights, the idea of a woman who may be bigger/stronger than them is anathema and scary as shit.

So, only pretty young women should lift?

This is a statement of discrimination.

All women, regardless of age or beauty can do themselves a favor by lifting and getting stronger. Having muscles isn't ALL about looks. It is about performance. And that mindset is what distinguishes an athlete from a beauty queen.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion. I think the girl on the left is hot as hell.

Yeah, even as she is she's really hot. I just think she'd look better with a little more bodyfat to get rid of the shoulder veins and have a little more of a chest.

Personal opinion? I think women look better with a little bit of fat on them. I'd go for the one on the right.

I'm with Angry Vader on this one, the one of the left is really hot. The one on the right is very nice as well, but my preference lies with the left.

Sexy shoulders.

See, now I know I might get flamed for this, but that level of vascularity on a woman doesn't do much for me.

X2

But I have never seen a woman that muscular and lean irl. I did see a girl that lean but not nearly so muscular last week, and I have to say she was hot.

Still, I prefer some softness.

i hate to use the word "toned" so ill just say, a light foundation of muscularity can be extremely attractive.

like most guys, i just like it all. if a girl is soft with a little fat, i dont care, ill take that. if a girl is skinny like a supermodel, ill take that. ill keep this clean and just say though that girls with fit bodies, like theres just a certain type of ass structure to it, my man parts get all tingly and ..you know.

x3 that girl's body is not attractive. i associate a certain level of hardness, musculature and vascularity with masculinity. she looks more like someone id want for a training partner rather than a girlfriend.

That level of muscularity would not deter me from being attracted to her. On the same note, a woman who has more curves and is meatier than average would also not deter me. Because the woman herself is attractive.

Sadly, I completely disagree. To me, she is the definition of sexy!

Mak- does this change your thoughts on "going south"? I hope not.

See, I think she looks great because when I look at her, I see dedication, hard work and a lot of sacrifice and probably pain.
My boyfriend would say the same thing many of you guys did: too vascular, too "hard".

I think that if a girl has the goal to get really lean and muscular, then she really doesn't give a shit what guys think of her body. She's looking to reach her goal, not to look attractive to the opposite sex.
And I admire that.

Of course it doesn't change anything. I find many figure competitors attractive, just more so in their "off" season when they have a few more curves.
