The fact the character is a Russian immigrant and X is a dentist I think was the gist of it.

Pretty much.

If he had been a dental immigrant it would have been way more acceptable.

I thought the main story in GTA IV was the weakest of all the modern GTA titles. You are playing as the main character, yet you have no understanding of his motivations for the entire game.

However, I loved the Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony expansions.

San Adnreas has been the best GTA title to date IMO. Huge map, good story, tons of side missions.

GTA IV game engine + updated graphics + good story line = best GTA title to date.

Agree completely. GTA IV gave me no reason at all to care about the main character.

I mean, yeah San Andreas stuck with me because it was set in the same time period I was in junior high and the environment was familiar...but I kept playing it because they wrote the game well enough that you gave a shit about the guy you were playing.

being able to change how he looked by going to the gym pretty much made it like cake to a fat kid to me.

Hitman Absolution is a badass game. This game make me want to play over and over again with how I can stalk my targets and the multiple ways I can take them out. I wasted 8 hours yesterday playing the game. I have been playing on hard. While the hard difficulty is just that, hard, it keeps me from rage quitting.

Okay you sold me on this, I am getting it today.

I just got AC3 after being out of town and have been trying to play that. :/

I like stalking silently and killing things.

Hey PX what is your feelings on Hitman?

Did you get AC3 yet?

My PS3 had to freeze in order for me to stop playing and get off my ass and realize there is a world outside of Hitman. I have problems.

I read that the AI is the biggest/only real gripe with the game - the general consensus seems its inconsistent, sometimes too good and detect for no reason and sometimes it will sit there and shoot at nothing.

I really hope they release the Hitman HD trilogy that is coming out in Europe for the US, I would really like to replay those games on my PS3 in HD.

I have to agree that it's to weighted to their advantage. For instance, when I am in someone else's disguise that I still find myself sneaking around to avoid detection. A lot of reviews talk about â??how can a person on a police force know every face?â?? and the like.

I can understand that bouncers at a strip club would know other bouncers and would be able to pick you out as not one of them if you got close. Like when I am playing I barely notice other AI faces but can see mine and discover that I am not Billy Joe.

Yes, it is a game and they counter being discovered with instinct but it only last so long. Great game nonetheless but if they were going to do that they needed more paths to be sneaky.

Nice. Hope they can really focus on them and leave out all the teen drama.
