Yeah, obviously, I'll still play and give them 30 hours a week of my fucking life, but fuck them anyway.
They'll probably add it in with the second expansion after interest in the game fades. Good ol' ATVI is going to hold stuff back so they can squeeze 2-3 expansions in the next 5 years.
I remember reading a dev post that said they decided not to include the Paladin because the class was "too good" for Diablo 3, there was no way they make the class feel like an improvement over Diablo 2 without being too strong compared to the other classes since the class was already perfect.

I tried Witch Doctor on beta and it felt way OP.
How was the witch doctor compared to the necromancer from d2?
Soo the thing with D3 is that all the customization you had in D3, doesn't come really until higher levels soo I personally didn't feel I had enough play time with the Witch Doctor to say how similar or different they are.
I'll tell you one thing throwing barrels of spiders is FUN & OP.

and That was what really ruined 1&2 for me.
All the cheating and hacking and lagging etc.
So the whole game is online now even single player. But now blizzard Online Service "battlenet" is essentially hack proof, the whole goal of them having it all online was they can stop modders/hackers.
But I live way out in the Country and our internetz dont work so fast from the satellites.
I'm still getting it and gonna try 2 force it to work with the slowness
but I wish there were at least an option for single player as in the first two.

I was pissed about the no Paladin, too, definitely think the monk is just not as cool. I didn't get to try the beta but I bought it, feeling the barbarian so far.
That's crazy about no testers beating inferno mode though, I can't see being good enough to even try it.

I doubt it will be different enough/much improved from the previous version to hold my attention for long. Once you smash all the content it will probably get boring.
But it will hold me over until I start nerding it up in GW2!
Would like to get the game but a.) Don't have a decent enough PC, and b.) the internet over here tends towards being prevailantly shitty.
Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope they make an xbox version :(

It gives me a chuckle thinking about people like Waylander and Romaniello bent over a computer, clicking away.
I for one can't wait for it. I didn't play the beta, so I will have to experiment with the classes before picking one to play all the way through with.
