perfect pulse day. 1.25 hrs of NEPA and just some sugar free gum to chew on. Never thought I'd be excited for my shake tomorrow morning!!! Hoping to crack the scale under 200 tomorrow!
W: total lost 7 lbs (again, I had a semi-traumatic event happen the week before I started the diet and I think I lost a solid 5 lbs that week which would have easily come off in the diet so the total weight loss could have been around 10-15lbs)

So that's a total of 13.5" and at least 7lbs. Considering I wasn't too high over my set weight, I'm pretty happy with the results. The closer you get to your set weight, the harder it is to lose quickly. I want to be around 190 with more lean muscle. Few more pulse fasts during transition then indigo for several weeks and I'll hit that easily. Keep you posted on next few weeks.

First day of transition phase (actually had a HSM last night). Grilled chix and shrimp over a salad and some grilled flank steak skewers. Pulse fast tomorrow. 30 mins of NEPA in this morning. 2nd shake going down now.

30 mins of NEPA, 267 cals, 15 min/mile pace. Started pulse fast last night at 9pm. Down another lb AFTER a HSM with 2 beers. I'm a homebrewer so I couldn't hold out any longer. I brewed a $60 batch of Ommegang Hennepin and had to sample it. But that's IT! don't recommend anyone drink at least during the first 30 days of the diet. I'm hoping to lose at least 2 more lbs today.
Workout at lunch...time to go hard. I took down my before after pics as I realized the before pic I took from my comp was from 2 years ago during my first V-Diet. I actually didn't take a before photo from this V-Diet which pisses me off but trust me, this is the most compliant ive ever been doing this, and these are the best results Ive had. Down over 10 lbs and getting continued weight loss.
I think I have everything dialed in moving forward. What I will do is post a pic of me from about 2 months ago (shirt on unfortunately) but you will easily see the weight in my body/face has dropped off. Let me pull something out to give you an idea of progress.

Well most of today was fine on the pulse fast. I think the workout really pushed my body and I am STARVING right now. Just trying to keep my mind on other things. Another 30 mins of NEPA too. Can't wait to get some calories in me tomorrow am.

Here are some good before after photos. Although i forgot to take a legit photo of myself before the vdiet...I did remember that I had some shirtless pics from a few months prior, and trust me when I started this diet I didn't look much different. Just look at how much smaller my face is.

Day 5 of my transition week #1. 45 mins of NEPA. took 2 HOT-ROX...bad idea. I'm tweaking the eff out right now...not fun. My max is one at a time. Starting to add in creatine to my repetoire as well as BCAAs as I'm stepping up the lifting. Lost another 3 lbs. Weight was 194.6 this morning. Had a beer can chicken last night with green beans and half a sweet potato. AMAZING. For me eating clean wasn't much of a problem, it was limiting the cheat meals. I love the taste of healthy food, but like Shugart, I'm a sucker for pizza. We are going to try the almond flour recipe soon and I'll post pics. We've made a lot of homemade pizza before, just with whole wheat crust.

Great training session yesterday. Heavy back squats, moved from the lat pull downs to pull ups. Those need work for sure and will be a big focus moving forward. Made the coconut flour pizza tonight with lowfat cheese, low sugar pizza sauce, roasted red and green peppers, rotisserie chix and turkey sausage. Was awesome!!! My fiance and I are looking forward to going more wheat-free. Indigo arrived this past week as well!

Well guys, it's been another great experience doing the V-Diet again. This was the most successful round for me as I've made a LOT of changes to my food/nutrition choices that I know will last. The body recomposition is great as well. I'm starting the Indigo Protocol today and will be blogging over there now. Good luck to you all!
