Wow.... really great job.
You remind me that I need to come up with my post-V-diet plan. Like you said, get rid of any guesswork.
thanks man. its all about being proactive. for me, keeping all of my food between noon and 8pm fits my work schedule/lifestyle so it was a no brainer. its the "lean gains" intermittant fasting protocol. im also trying to stick to the 100g carb cure...i have trouble getting enough carbs in though. be proactive and prepared.
find some good foods that you wouldnt mind eating everyday...and eat them everyday. the V-Diet should break your food addictions, so dont go back after, dont ever "reward" yourself with your old favorites. you did not "deserve it". reward yourself with non-food rewards. food is not for pleasure or for comfort anymore, its for function. there are plenty of other things in life you can do for pleasure or comfort. hammer that into your mind during the V-Diet and you are going to set yourself up for continued success.

Transition Day 19: March 16
NEPA: Walk
3.17 miles
51 min
3.7 mph
HSM 1:
2 hard boiled eggs
.4 lbs broccoli
4 oz steak
.25 lb ground beef w/ some cheese
2 slices uncured bacon
20g pepper jack cheese
Workout:
Bench Press:
135x8
185x5
205x4
205x3
205x3
SLDL:
135x10
Squat:
135x10
Pullups:
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5
BB Bicep Curl:
75x6
75x6
75x6
decent workout. my body is fried though. i dont know if its the lack of calories, lack of carbs, probably both but im not feeling strong. oh well, as long as the fat is burning its just fine. did the SLDL and Squat just to get some blood flowing through my legs, they are sore.
Workout Nutrition:
Pre:
2 scoops C4
Mid:
1 scoop Surge Workout Fuel
1 scoop MAG-10
Post:
2 scoops Surge
1 scoop Power Drive
HSS:
2 cheese sticks
1 hard boiled egg
HSM 2:
2 eggs over easy
.25 lb ground beef w/some cheese
2 slices uncured bacon
.4 lbs broccoli
6 chicken wings
a few small slices of cheese w/ pepperoni
big one. i felt like i needed it, but didnt go overboard. i think i need to be more mindful of how much food my body desires. sometimes i feel like im stuffing myself and other times i feel like i can eat more. if i eat less those times i feel like im stuffing myself and eat more when i feel like i need it, not only will it even out, but it should produce better results.
good day. tomorrow i got invited to a pub crawl for st patty's day. ugh. gonna keep the booze to a minimum and stick to eating wings. i wanted to pulse fast too lol. gonna do that monday i guess.

Transition day 20: March 17
st patricks day.
ugh.
had like 5 beers and maybe 3 or 4 drinks. only one of those had sugar in it. i did eat some fries at one point and there was probably sugar in the wing sauce. also had some taco bell. Not terrible, not great. barely had over 100g carbs i bet, but the food was not clean. o well

51 min
3.79 mph
HSM 1:
2 hard boiled eggs
.25 lbs ground beef w/some cheese
.75 lbs broccoli
4 oz steak
2 small slices pepper jack
2 slices pepperoni
so ive been eating pretty much the exact same thing everyday for 3 weeks. still like it just as much as i did the first week of the transition. food addictions broken, hell, i had pizza right infront of me yesterday and had no desire to eat it. i just stuck to my chicken wings.
HSM 2:
.5 lbs Broccoli
1 lb of ribeye roast
60g cheese
HSS:
40g cheese
1 hard boiled egg
another day in the books. i did some bicep curls at some point. not significant enough to count it as a workout. gotta look good on the beach next week lol.

Happy St Patty's! (yesterday)
It was strange not party, so I'll use yours (for now).
How is your head?
You have been a rock on this thing and I want to thank you.
You truly motivate me to stay as close to perfect adherence as I can. (and so far, very close).
Thanks again and I hope your head ain't throbbin, but if it is, what's a headache once in awhile?

thanks Zorn. no hangover from st pattys! i stopped drinkin at 9pm and had a lot of water for the rest of the night. it was a good plan.
once the results start coming in, adherence to the plan is easy. just keep your eyes on the prize.

my favorite day of the week. its like a holiday. doing it right this time, usually i skip the GPC and use half as much Power Drive. im using everything this time.

1 hr 30 min
3.75 mph
Workout:
Pullups:
BW x 10
BW x 10
BW x 10
DB Upright rows ext rot:
35s x 10
35s x 10
35s x 10
BB Bicep Curls:
65x6
65x6
65x6
Power Flys:
40s x 10
40s x 10

First time doing a workout on a pulse fast day. wasnt bad, got a wicked pump in lol. pullups were good, had no trouble knocking out sets of 10. when i pulsed halfway through the workout i felt a rush blood to my muscles, like i got extra pump. pretty cool feeling.

That's a huge deal! Way to keep it up. Does it feel like the transformation it is?
As an aside, thanks for continuing to post following (technically) completing the V-Diet. It is great to see the transition into the next phase, and the continued progress.

Thanks! i feel a lot better now than i did at 245 (or 253 for that matter). but im not done yet so i dont really feel a huge sense of accomplishment. That being said, i used to look in the mirror or look down at the gut and think "damn i need to do something about this". i dont get that feeling anymore, im doing something about it! so it takes a lot of stress off.
also, i like keeping a log. i think its one of the keys to success. even though im done with the v-diet i will keep logging here for continuity.

Plan starting april 2nd
9am: HOT-ROX, NEPA
10am: MAG-10, Lift
12noon: HSM 1, Flameout
2pm: HOT-ROX, Sprints
4pm: HSM 2, Flameout
8pm: HSM 3, Flameout
Workout: either a complexes workout or high frequency "easy strength" workout. havnt decided yet. sprints will be 50m, im going to ease into them so im not exactly sure how many ill be doing yet. lifting is going to be fasted but with MAG-10.
i may throw in some Metabolic Drive shakes, but im primarily using food for all nutrition.
