Would this be acceptable to have one pickle every few days just to rid the taste of the shakes in my mouth for a short period of time?

If its not acceptable, I will avoid it. If acceptable it could be a very good tool to help me get through the remaining 22 days of this process.
The jar I have says 0 calories and 0 carbs with 120mg of sodium. The link above shows 1g of carbs. I broke down last night and had one pickle because I needed to get a different taste in my mouth. Let me know what you think.

Something to think about here is the habit-breaking benefits of the V-Diet. By avoiding solid foods (except for the HSM) and going very strict for 28 days, many bad dietary habits are broken and cravings are lessoned or even eradicated. By adding in a solid food, even a pickle, you may be hindering the ability of the diet to give you those effects.

But, if a pickle will keep you on the diet for the full 28 days, then the good outweighs to drawbacks. So, up to you.

That is a good point since the main reason for doing this diet second time around is to reset dietary The salty foods at night was one of the things I wanted this diet to rid of bad night eating habits and the pickle could be keeping the salt food craving alive at night. Thanks for the response and opening my eyes to the scope of things in what eating a pickle may do.

I find the sugar-free fiber choice tablets are a great way to remove the taste. Just don't have more than the daily value.
