Greetings,

I purchased the 64 oz. Nalgene LabWare bottle with the intention of mixing up 3 meals in the morning to get me through my 10 hour work shift. I'll use an insulated bag to transport it to the office, where it will be refrigerated. Are there any problems with this method, such as protein degradation or something else I've not considered?

Thanks!
dlk

It's probably okay, but you'll need to make sure it's shaken really well after it's been sitting just incase it starts to separate.

Also you're not supposed to drink the same quantity of calories with each shake( depending on your weight the number of scoops varies ). So mixing your first 3 shakes up could be bad if they are supposed to be 3 scoops, 2 scoops and 3 scoops respectfully.

It's okay, but corst has some good points: Should all three of those shakes be the same? Amount? Superfood? Flax seed?

Just get a few different bottles bro...and put them all in your work fridge. just label them because everybody knows that your whole office will try and steal that liquid gold!! No one can resist protein, wet flax seed and superfood!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your assistance. My main concern was that pre-mixing would be detrimental to the quality of the meal. I'd also spaced off the fact that meal 4 was completely different than 2 and 3. As ncarroll77 suggested, I'll be buying another bottle (or 2) to make this all work.

Thanks again!

The shakes are best when made fresh and blended with a little ice.

Or, if you have a fridge at work, you could always put the proper serving of powder into three separate bottles and then, on your break, add ice cold water from a pitcher, shake and drink? I left a shake of mine sitting on the counter the other night and the separation factor icked me the heck out. Yucky looking!
