any of you dudes have it right now? are their any functionalty differences between that and ACUS? do you like them better than the combat shirts?

Everyone I knew that wore them last trip bought them on their own. I like the pattern, but they were too expensive for me.

Only issued to units deploying to AFG, along with the new boots. But the uniform is still the ACU- in Multicam pattern camo. Only SOF units have a noticably different 'cut' of uniform from the ACU (still in multicam); collars, knees, sleeves...all different(better).

I'd like to ask if anyone thinks the UCP is advantageous in ANY environment? Except maybe a gravel parking lot...

They are also pretty good in regular parking lots.

Multicam is getting issue as part of RFI, I will be getting it in the next couple months will let ya know how it is. ACU pattern looks pretty decent if you let get dirty enough to blend into the local flaura, just dont wash for a couple months.

I've had the RFI multicam for a couple months in eastern Afghan near Ghazni and its been working very well. The only downside is the MC washes out slightly with the shitty Haj washers but overall has been very useful/successful.
