Premise of this thread is POIDH.
For the discussion, and explicit viewing of awesome foods we eat, and how to make it (if we cooked/created it ourselves). Preferably 1000 calories or more per meal. If not, it better be DAMN extreme in some manner. Or useful/portable/simple.
Since I don't currently have any pics on my computer of badass things I've eaten, I'll open with a recipe for anybody that needs a convenient protein/calorie packed snack that's cheap, simple to make, and doesn't need refrigeration.
I've written the recipe before, but for anyone who's missed it, I present to you:
-Puppy Shit-
{All measurements are approximates}
1/3-1/2 cup peanut butter, Jif or Peter Pan works/tastes best imo
1-3 teaspoons honey, to desired taste/texture
1-1 1/4 scoops protein powder
Mix that shit up, throw a cover on the container, and there's one batch bitches! Contains about:
40-50 grams fat
25 grams carbs
45 grams protein
Around 600 calories total per batch
If the pic doesn't make the reason for its name obvious, you're stupid.

In cases of extreme hunger and no "healthy" options my friend and I came up with:
"The Triple Threat Animal Stack"
Go to Wendy's or McDonalds Order:
1 Double Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon
1 Spicy Chicken Sandwhich
Put that shit together in one massively awesome sandwich! Well over 1000 calories, (if you add french fries and a drink its well above 1500 calories) and it has 62g of protein! I've had three in the last two weeks. Gross I know.
I'm lovin it!

Hawaiian Poke (pronounced Poh-kay)
No measurements needed.
Ingredients:
Yellow fin tuna.
Onion.
Sesame Oil
Soy Sauce
*Additional*
Prepare:
Dice the raw yellow fin into tiny cubes
Cut up some onion
Add a little Sesame Oil
Add a little Soy sauce
stir
refrigerate for a while then eat cold.
Additional could be anything, could add some sesame seeds, some ginger, lemon juice, chives, onion leaves whatever you think works.
(Picture of dish found online, not a picture of my own version, I have made this many times though especially when I was overseas and Yellowfin Tuna was $2 per lb)

I am a black man (no shit!) and I suffer from the problem a lot of other dark skinned brothers (and some lighter skinned brothers) face on a daily basis: lactose intolerance. I can't drink milk without doubling over in stomach cramps and gas within an hour.
Only recently have I discovered the joys of lacto-free milk, it tastes EXACTLY like regular milk, contains slightly better protein to carb ratio and is pretty cheap in comparison to other PWO shakes. After a workout I go straight to the local supermarket and down a litre (quart, for you Americans) of lacto-free milk every workout, then a meal follows - on joyful occasions it consists of 2-3 pieces of chicken and a half-pounder burger.
1 Litre of lacto-free milk:
40g Protein
30g Carbs
35g Fat

My PWO meal goes like this:
1 scoop vitargo, 2 scoops protein powder,
then,
8 raw eggs, 1 scoops protein powder (mixed in a blender, tastes like cake mix)
then,
18-20oz steak and 1 mashed sweet potato mixed with cinnammon.
Definitely going to try out that puppy shit though, good stuff h4m!

ULTIMATE Chili:
All of it together should be less than $20 and for about 4-6 meals, that's worth it.
2 or 3 pounds of 80/20 ground beef
1 big can of chopped tomatoes
1 small can of tomato paste
1 or 2 cans of beans
1 yellow onion
1 green onion
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Ground Cumin
Salt and Pepper
Bell peppers (all colors are fine)*
Cheese*
Sour cream*
Cocoa powder*
1 or 2 jalapenos*
*optional
Dice up yellow onions and saute until less yellow with butter/olive oil/coconut oil. Add beef and brown. Add salt and pepper. Add all forms of tomato, beans, optional bell peppers. Generously add garlic and onion powder. Be careful with the cumin and cocoa since it's strong.
Brew the shit til it boils and voila. Salt generously and pepper additionally to taste. Takes less than 30 minutes total prep time for it all to come together and while it may seem like a large number of ingredients, most of this crap you should have lying around in your kitchen.
If not, you need to get some.
What kind of bodybuilder doesn't have fucking cocoa powder? Yeesh.

Holy sh*t! Haha, no wonder you are such a beast
Mine is simple and tastey. Two 32 oz Gatorades (112g carbs) and either 2 scoops of Anaconda and MAG-10 (for legs or back day) or 2 scoops whey (for chest, arms, or shoulders). Either way, I add some of that Intensified Liquid Flavor stuff, and it is AMAZING

I will be sure to food-porn it up with another "The Office" quote next time I make it :)
Are you allowed rice cookers or slow cookers? Yes, RICE-COOKERS. You could do the lazy ass version and just throw everything in all at once in one of them and just let it run over night. I did that with the rice cooker i had in college... never actually made any rice with it.lol

We're not "supposed" to...but what they don't know doesn't hurt them. I've been considering it.

When I first started lifting, I couldn't gain at all, so I was constantly forcing down food. What my brother and I would cook up after a training session was:
1 lb of chopped beef
1 Dozen Eggs
Half a block of Polly-O Fat Free Mozzarella Cheese
As much Frank's Red Hot Sauce as you can take
(we'd split this, I wasn't eating a lb of meat and 12 eggs all by myself!)
Other caloric dense combos I rely on..
1 Cup Oats
2 Scoops Met Drive
4 Tbsp Natural PB
(these days I sprinkle Chia Seeds on top for extra fiber and Omega 3s)
1 Cup Cottage Cheese
1 Cup Raw Cashews
Splenda and Cinnamon to taste
(I've added a scoop of either Vanilla or Banana Met Drive to this at times, actually blends in really well!)

About 3/4 a lbs of ground beef, ketchup and a heaping pile of home made guacamole. Not pictured: corn chips for the quac.
I know carbs & fats, carbs & fats. I don't really care.
Guacamole:
2 avocados
cumin powder (a shit load)
cayenne pepper (to taste, don't be a pussy)
fresh cilantro (Not too much)
5-6 cherry tomatoes
1/2 sweet white onion
2 garlic cloves (that is right, two ya pussy)
Put in blender, liquefy that shit.

zest
3/4 cup splenda
blend cottage cheese and eggs, add everything together
Fill baking pan with water, put mixture in ramekins in the water bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
