Hey guys, been doing RDL's recently but after the first 1 or 2 sets i start to get a pin in my lower back. Not muscular either side but central at the base of my spine.

After around 30 mins the pain goes and there is no lasting pain. Could this be form or do you think i have a weakness somewhere.

For reference i kinda get the same pain when i do bb rows.

cheers guys.

Well, take this for what it's worth (for lack of any more data), it may be form related, you may be rounding your back some during the lift. Do you have any video of how you do RDLs?

In what region of you spine? And most of the time it's form related indeed, post a video. =)

Do you still get the same pain with bb rows or did that magically go away also?

I'm doing back today if can get to the gym so i'l let you know. Hopefully it will have gone away.

Normally i do a few set of pull ups to get goin then bb rows, then i move to seated rows.

If my back is sore after bb rows i normally feel it when i start the seated rows. So we'll see what happens.
