Update from Page 2 of this thread (click for bigger pic).
Ending this year at 270-ish. This pic (which is current avatar) is the week of Christmas 2010 after 'bulking' since May 2008 -- appx. 2 yr, 7 months.
Arms start of 'bulk': 14.25"
Arms current as of this post: 19+"
I have a couple lifting numbers I want to hit, probably by end of Jan/Feb 2011 and I may consider leaning up or some really serious "damage control" (as Prof X would say).
Still a long, long, long way to go..........
See below for full "fat to skinny fat to strong fat" history lol.

Currently working making 'the top half' bigger and trying to keep the 'mid half' where it is...
Edit:
240 to 180 (fat-fat to skinny-fat). Did that with diet with mostly cardio and some weight lifting (wouldn't do that again). Got down to 170.
<pic>
From 4/08 to 4/09 (at about 225# in this pic), added 3.25" to arms:
<pics>

Update Edit: 2/2010
<pic>
14.25" to 19" (4.75") in 2 years @ 38 y.o.
#######
Certainly not the "final after", but had to add the pic with the beard, which trumps all other development.
A bit lighter, a bit stronger, a bit bigger, a bit leaner, and a bit grayer since last update (pg 16). Benching in the 400's.
Still going.
Last update:

Good stuff. I hadn't updated this thread in a while. I'm down to about 195, 200 in the pic. About as strong as I was at 240. The plan is to be in the best shape of my life when I turn 30 in a few months.

Steely- You looks like you would fit in well with the Pittsburgh Steelers defense
DD- good work man, especially maintaining your strength after losing that much weight. That's doing it right. How long have you been dieting for? i'm guessing you'e been taking your time with it.

Yeah, it has been a long process from 240. I went from 240 to 220-225 ish in, I'd guess around 4-5 months. I stayed at that weight for a while continuing to try to lean down some. Started the decent down to where I am now in the mid 190s in September, so about another 4 months (so far) of cutting. Probably around a year of actively leaning out all told.
My conditioning is a million times better too. I can't run like I did in my soccer days, but I'm regularly doing 20 minute rough terrain jogs and 5 mile rucks with 50+ pounds.

Wow, looking deisel as all hell (as usually though, hehe) Steely! Awesome man. Such a beast.
Duce, definitely looking wwaaaaaaaay better than I remember from times' past. Keep up the great work, and I'm glad you're feeling good.
Here's an okay one. This was at the very end of my last diet in late August. I only used this one because it shows more detail, but incidentally since getting leaner I'm now 10 lbs heavier but MUCH more filled out. I'll probably post that pic at some point but I had just happened to make this yesterday so as long as this thread is relevant, what the heck.

Wowsers, all 'round!
@SteelyD
You're starting to look like me, only I'm about 10 years younger.
Seriously, though: awesome. You're a poster boy for dedication and consistency. Judging by your progress one wouldn't think you had your fair share of bumps on your training road.
@SSC
Good progress.
I know a thing or two about loose skin and how gaining muscle as a FFB can be a tad trickier if you want to stave off (excessive) fat gain. Kudos to you for upping a photo of your weak side - I've seen a few photos of you over the past years and know you could've easily shown a few shots showing your strengths.
@austin
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring, we all know you got model looks, by now.
GTFO! ;)
@DoubleDuce
Well, I'll be damned: a 40-years looking guy closing in on 30 sporting the body of a 20-something bodybuilder - good job! Have you worked on looking more like a bodybuilder or is it simply the fat loss? I'm on a similar road, also getting married this year.

Lol!
I'll be shredded in 12-16 weeks. Then we can say I have model looks. Totally serious though that's what I'm going for, a body like a male fitness model.

Hah. You forgot the online personality of a 50 year old.
Probably mostly the fat loss and conditioning. Although very recently I've been adding in more bodybuilding style work. Now that Iā??m getting lean enough, I can see what needs work.
My uncle, who was a competitive BBer for about 20 years, (and owned his own gyms, est.) was trying to talk me into competing when I saw him at thanksgiving. For now, I'm just focused on getting lean, but who knows, I do have a small frame and little joints and a little waist. I need to see where I am when I get to where I want to be on leanness.
I've got 3 and a half more months to get as lean and conditioned as I can (30-th birthday).

Thanks, man.
Just posted this in the "Big Back" thread in PL Forum, but it probably illustrates a good "Before/After" -- 4 years or so.
Sorry, crappy pic and posing.

193 this morning after my first "arm" workout in about 5 years. Before you know it I'm going to be shaving my legs and tanning.

Yes, those are veins on my upper arm and front delt. It's getting amazing to see how quickly things change.

Thanks Fatty, and it has been very tricky but I've learned invaluable lessons through the years. Excited to keep moving forward.
I suppose this is more of an updated pic. Legs are solid (but it's like 8 degrees here so...) and delts / triceps have and will continue to be my biggest priorities moving forward.

Bump. Kind of a blurry pic, but I'm still getting leaner, only I've gained a few pounds from my lowest. Really starting to see new definition in my chest.
How's everyone doing? Been pretty dead in here.

Hell yeah DD, keep it up dude. Definitely starting to see some chest striations there and serious vascularity. Doesn't it feel great to... uh, feel great?
Although I feel like you and I are the only ones regularly updating here, I'm below 200 now which is cool/uncool. March was a pretty shitty month for the diet overall, but progress was made ultimately. After re-assessing I'll be likely shooting for the 180-185ish range (fml.) Please disregard the filter whoring and terrible edits... on Instagram straight flexin.'

It's indeed pretty slow in here, even a new subforum so it seems. It's been a long time..
SSC, you've really shred some fat man!
And DoubleDuce, veins popping up on the shoulder and striations of the pecs... keep going!
Didn't train much last year... started up again in January.
A phatty 90KG:
A less fatty 92,5KG:

Here is me in 2005 at 18 years old, I don't remember exactly how much I weighed but I was def over 200 lbs. This was around the time I first discovered T-Nation and started getting serious about weight training/bodybuilding.

Here's a pic from yesterday(I couldn't keep a straight face lol) at 173, lightest I"ve been since about 2006. Still got work to do but finally feel like I'm not a "fat boy" anymore lol.
