I really like this idea. Of the people that I find interesting, I know almost all of their lifting backgrounds but it's still a cool premise for a thread. Good job Blackaggarbrah, looking forward to the first installment.
Off the top of my head, one guy I'd like to read about would be BONEZ217.

Agree, this has good potential. Most of the "cornerstone" posters have been accounted for, in terms of "How Do You Train" (etc) threads, but there are still a whole hell of a lot of big, strong, knowledgeable people around here.
It's too bad that guy who was in the BB forum and did those 100-rep leg extensions didn't stick around. Can't remember his SN but he was yakked.

I vote Bonez, I'm surprised he never had a "How do you train thread".
I'm up for an interview but don't expect me to be the next Ed Coan on training knowledge lol. Maybe you guys should agree on what topics to be addressed, create a template or whatever.

Ok here is the list of questions i was thinking of
Why did you start training?
What does your current training look like? (exercises, sets, days training)
What is your current diet like?
Do you currently do cardio? what do you do?
Best advice you could give someone about training/diet
How does that look?

I think that whoever is interviewing who should just follow a "topic" list and add his own questions, like a general Q

Other question suggestions:
1) What do you do for a living, and how has this affected your training?
2) What has been your worst injury, and how did you work around it, repair it?
3) If you had to pick one or two key principles/words of advice to tell every newb, what would they be?
4) How does your size/strength effect your life outside of the gym?
5) Have you ever felt an ache or pain, or finished a particularly hard set and asked yourself "why the fuck do I do this to myself?" What was your response to that, if so?
6) If you could do a couple of things different, what would they be and why?
7) What is it going to take for you to feel like you have accomplished something special in this thing we do?

Hey black, do you think you highlight your questions in bold to make the interview a little easier to read? Good idea, looking forward to the next one.

Something I thought of - it may not be the worst idea to get a recent picture of the interviewee's to be by the thread. Doesn't have to be utterly revealing/show face/etc., but years from now if people are looking back on this and have no idea who these people are / what they look like, it probably won't be as significant.
Just a thought.
