sorry for no update yesterday. I trained in the morning, then had to get the house ready for todays garage sale. Lots of prep. Today was my first off day from the gym in two weeks. But Dont worry, I got a lot of work in moving furinture to the driveway, helping the people who bought with there items to there cars, and then moving the items that didnt sell back into the house.
Yesterdays training was shoulders. I wasnt feeling to great, seemed to have no energy. Got through it but felt weak.
I started with Some High Frequency training:
I did 3 sets of 6 of each.
Then I did a high incline bench press, sets of 6 reps, followed by an extended set.
Then two supersets:
Superset 1 of front laterals, side laterals, cuban press
Superset 2 of reset side laterals, standing laterals
3 sets of each superset. 10 reps each first exercise, then max reps on the others.
Take the lat pulldown cable, attach the lat pulldown bar, then standing so the bar is in front of you with arms fully extended with a wide grip, simulate a kayak row to each side (one hand goes low and does all the pulling, and the other stays high on the bar) then do the other side, followed by pushing down with both hands at the same time. so right row, left row, then both equals one rep. It is one of CT's exercise. I think he has a video of it somewhere.
Two long days of garage sale. It went great, we sold a lot of stuff we would have thrown out. Fantastic results, but rather boring, except for the interesting characters who actually show up!
Today went to the gym and just did some calfs and stomach work. Did the following:
Cybex rotary calf 3 sets of 10
Seated Calfs 3 sets of 10
Standing Calfs 3 sets of 10
Standing cable cruches back supported 3 sets of 10
Swiss ball cruches 3 sets of 20
Today was a good day training. I did lats and calfs
Did 4 sets of 12 of all the following exercises
-Flex leverage plate loader lat pulldown to chest
-Hammer Strength Pulldown palms facing myself
-Hammer strength behind the neck pulldown
-Icarian seated calfs
Had good training this am.
Did 4 sets of 12 of the following:
HS High Row
HS Low Row
HS DY Row
Chest supported T Bar row, wide grip
HS High Pull
Smith machine behind the back vertical raises
today I woke up and hit the little weight room up here in VT. I trained arms. Did 4 supersets of bi/tri combos. It was a nice session. Then I hit the road to look for a job. I have been really busy. Had some good leads. I can not wait till I get settled in up here. I will be so much happier.
