Legs

Front Squat:
135 X 5
245 X 5 @ 75%
275 X 3 @ 85%
310 X 1 @ 95%

Barbell RDL's:
135 X 8
225 X 8
275 X 8
335 X 8

1-Leg Leg Press:
3pps X 4 X 9

1-Leg Seated Leg Curls:
50 X 10
60 X 3 X 10

1-Leg Leg Extensions:
50 X 10
60 X 3 X 10

Hyperextensions:
Purple band X 25 DROP
BW X 10

Great day in the gym today. Fronts went really fast and my RDL top set was epic. I was shaking in music-motivated anticipation at the start of the set and absolutely crushed it. I may have a leg training partner three weeks from now. Could be interesting.

Creeped on your last log. Been following this one too. Seems like every time I come in here, I see a PR, and some lulz, so good job. Keep it up, and any advice you ever want to shoot my way, I'll be glad to take.

Curious, how tall are you, and what do you weight now (obvi not 165)?

I got into a pretty serious car accident Saturday morning. I had gotten off work and spent an hour or so at an afterparty with friends before heading to IHOP. After eating there I noticed a little girl who I thought needed some help. At this point it was 5 AM. She said she was homeless and needed a ride to Oklahoma City. I am not as big of a douche as I portray myself in my training logs so I agreed to help her as it was only supposed to be about a thirty minute car ride. I was completely wrong.

This 20 year old dumb bitch had no idea where she lived. I spent an hour and a half driving around trying to find either of her parents' houses. She was rude, smelly and smoked three cigarettes in my friend's car. It was ridiculous. After all that fruitless searching I wound up dropping her off at a hospital.

At this point, it was around 6:30 AM and I'd been up for 23 consecutive hours. I was not thinking straight and was driving poorly. Somehow, I made it to my girl's neighborhood around 7 AM. I missed the turn and thinking irrationally decided to try to cut to the right while going 45 MPH. I wound up driving straight into a neighborhood wall.

The airbag detonated, the hood crumpled and the wall was demolished. In my state of sleep-deprived delirium and shock I ran from the scene to my girl's house which resulted in an inquisitive neighbor calling the cops on me. As it stands right now, my friend had no third-party insurance on his 2008 Honda Civic and I owe 1400 dollars for a brick wall. I have 1800 dollars in my bank account with all school expenses taken care of by scholarship. My parents are refusing to help me. I am truly screwed.

...and that's why I didn't lift Saturday! lol. Sternum was killing me from the airbag and seat belt. I'm feeling a lot better today though. No whiplash at all...lifting weights pays off!

Good day in the gym. I wasn't expecting much with the events of the weekend but I'd say I killed it. I'm coming down with some type of illness but I'm still going to keep crushing it this week. On the positive side of things, I had my first ever Big Mac today and it was awesome!

Haha I creep your log too bro. Sad truth is I haven't hit a real PR in almost a year but I appreciate the nice words. At a minimum I'm bigger and more muscular than I've ever been before so that counts for something.

I am 5'9 and between 190-195 lbs. I haven't weighed myself consistently since winter break so I'm not sure.

Thanks bro. I know they will, just a bit hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. My financial independence is completely shot and my parents think I'm lying about helping the homeless girl. The first thought that came to my girl's mind when she heard that story was that I was fucking another chick and lying to her. It really shows me how people view me I guess...sucks.

Lol, that was exactly the thought that was going through my head as I was driving that girl around. I just thought the punishment would be lack of sleep.

I honestly can't wait to get back to Omaha and de-stress next week.

Back/Biceps

Conventional Deadlift:
135 X 5
225 X 5
340 X 3 @ 70%
390 X 3 @ 80%
435 X 3 @ 90%

Barbell Rows:
135 X 10
185 X 10
205 X 10
215 X 10

Incline Dumbbell Rows:
80's X 4 X 8

Underhand Lat Pulldowns:
110 X 10
130 X 10
150 X 10
170 X 6

Face-away Pulldowns:
90 X 4 X 10

Barbell Curls:
65 X 10
70 X 10
75 X 10
80 X 5

Overhead Cable Curls:
90 X 4 X 10

Deadlifts were great. I got a lot of stares while doing them which I found hilarious. I was sweating my ass off while lifting because I'm running a fever. Good lift regardless. On an awesome note, once my parents found out the accident bill will be in the range of 7-8k rather than 2-3k they were much more willing to help me out. So...life isn't looking so down anymore. I have a big Physics 2 exam tomorrow and after that I'll be over the hump and on my way to a relaxing spring break.

I figure the new log needs a picture of me to prove I actually lift. I think my bodyweight is somewhere between 190-195 lbs. I feel more muscular than ever though I've been getting really flat after undereating on the weekends. I'm throwing a lot more 'not on the plan/IIFYM' food choices into the mix. I think it's working for me.

Legs and back are doing just fine. Legs have awful shape though and lats are really high. I think I might look like Stan Efferding if I ever fill out.

Damn dude, you're a lot denser then I thought. And quite lean. Do you do any cardio, or are you just pretty knowledgeable of your body at this point and know what macros work for you?

Ha, thanks man. Glad to surprise. I don't do any cardio at this point and haven't since mid-January though I would like to put some back in for cardiovascular reasons. I work a fairly physical job twice a week though and I walk around campus a fair bit. Intermittent fasting helps as well. I also have fairly decent genetics in regard to how I look when bulking. I store fat well and always pinch pretty thin in the 'mirror areas'.

Almost everything I eat is healthy 'IIFYM' food but I try to push carbs as high as possible on training days and minimize but not eliminate them on off-days. Lately, I've been 'eating whatever' on off-days but that hasn't really seemed to have a negative effect on me, quite the opposite in fact.

Thanks brobro. I take it you mean the facial hair. Got a comment about 'looking like a Spartan' the other day. I giggled.

This was probably my worst gym day in months. Left shoulder was killing me and lack of sleep trashed the session. I should have gotten at least 4+ on the inclines. I failed on the second. No matter, I will kill it next session. I'm going to throw back in some prehab work.

Oh lack of sleep trashed your session? Go figure. ;)

I bet you should be spending more time warming up your shoulders and RC than you are currently.

Lol, yeah, all the Angie-time caught up to me.

Definitely going to be doing some RC work as I'm currently doing none.

Ha please don't make fun of me in your very first post in my new log.

Thanks bro, I've been creeping your log, just FYI.

I hopped off the scale my first morning back in Omaha and weighed in at a dehydrated, undertrained and underfed 192.8 lbs. I'd say I'm a fair bit leaner than when I left here in January. I think I've put on about 2-3 lbs while getting leaner and stronger these past eight weeks. In my opinion, those are awesome gains. I even sent a picture from that morning to bugeishaAD and he told me it was the best I'd ever looked. My heart was warmed ;)

I've got three doctor's appointments over the next two days and I was contemplating not training. The itch is too strong though. lol. I'm going to take it easy on the meal timing and stuff of that sort and just lift hard and put down good food this week. It'll be good to relax a little bit.
