Are you saying that Thompson increased his deadlift 8.5%, without deadlifting in training, BECAUSE of his training with kettlebells? Juuuuussssst checking. If so, you might want to put a "YMMV" on that one. Many readers of this site might increase their deadlifts by much more than that by deadlifting more or better without ever touching a KB.

Great stuff here, nice seeing someone rock the blat and break the mould with all this core/functional bull. Heavy canle crunches with full stretch and arched back to full contraction is how ive added thickness to mine.

Like R Fischer, I am also puzzled by the quoted reps/sets. 4 sets of 5 reps with 90% of 1RM for the squat and DL sound insane.
